“A Bargain If You Have a Car”

This hotel is a bargain for any travelers who want to save on food costs. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave, and other kitchen supplies. We could buy our food at the grocery store instead of a restaurant. The only drawback was that it is not within walking distance of a Metro stop; however, it has easy access to the beltway.

“Very Pleasant Hotel with Great Service”

Everyone at the hotel was friendly and efficient. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. It was a very, very hot day and the air-conditioning was top notch and the condition of my room was spotless when I checked in. Though I did not use the kitchen extensively since I stayed for only one night, I thought the kitchen area was nicely arranged. Should I ever have a chance to stay there again for a longer period, I will be sure to cook.

“Great Value”

We lucked into a special Expedia price that was a great deal for metro DC. The room was clean, but offered no frills. High speed Internet access was extra; no breakfast; no cups or glasses of any kind in the room, even though we had a small kitchenette--go figure. Very nice staff. I would not hesitate to return or to recommend it to others.

convient to dining and shopping. hotel is located safe and quiet area. great value for the money. i recommend booking through expedia to take advantage of the discount offers. this is a place to rest. do not expect luxury. i would definetly stay there again. the staff was great.

I thought it would be a little more run down for the price, but I was wrong. I was comfortable with the room.

This was one of the cheaper alternatives in the Fairfax area. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the internet is not free ($5 for 24hrs of access) so this is the main reason why I gave an overall 4, otherwise it's a great deal for the price.

If you want a cheap clean bed for the night with no frills, this is the place. Some may complain about the small size or lack of comfort, but for the money, it is a good safe bargain.

“Standard One Star - Needs Better Room Service”

The hotel is what is expected for a one-star, low budget, extended stay hotel. The furnishings are standard, with no extras. I have a high standard when it comes to cleaniness, and the hotel's policy is that the room is only cleaned once every four to five days during an extended stay (we were there for about two and half weeks). Guests are required to bring linens to the guest desk for exchange. Every time we asked for a full set of clean linens during the exchange, the hotel NEVER had clean wash cloths. Also, since the room was not to be cleaned for 4-5 days, when I asked for a broom/vaccum to self clean the room, the hotel refused to provide on several occasions (either could not locate, or stated that it was a liability to provide a broom to a guest). I was instructed to wait until housekeeping arrived the following day. When I asked housekeeping for items to self clean, I was told to use in five minutes and return. The hotel needs to be able to provide guests with the means to self clean their room if the room service is not to be provided on a daily basis.
