“Dirty, nasty, and overall gross”

This hotel is the absolute worst Howard Johnson's on the planet! Rooms were sparsely appointed, bathrooms moldy, and none of the appliances worked.

“Noisy night”

Bathroom clean, room had seen a lot of wear and tear. Staff in office pleasant. Very noisy outside from 2-3am (laughing, talking on phones, etc). May be only time customers stayed up all night and I happened to be there....but, did not get much sleep after a very long day on the road. Will try a different hotel in the area next time. Plenty to chose from...

“No more 52 flavors of ice cream at HoJo's.......just fading memories and conditions of HoJo's.”

Showing it's age. Howard Johnson's were popular and upscale in the 70's. They're now past their prime and image. Secretary has already been informed never to book another room with HoJo's.

“Not a four star but certainly fine for selected stay.”

Property is a bit old but fine and management is, generally, very helpful. If location and price are driving factors, certainly an acceptable location for your stay. Several other hotels around the area may offer you other features that you want (many not on Expedia.com).

“Nice stay in weston”

Events were in Pembroke Pines but this was the best price hotel in the area. About a 15 min drive to pemb pines. Nice rooms not far from starbucks . Had breafast at 84 diner a landmark. Hotel also has sit down restaraunt or buy cereal and milk a the mini mart in the lobby. Would stay again.

Area recommendations

Town center at night and the Starbucks for coffee.

“Would not go again.”

I would not recommend this hotel just because of the night that we arrived. I did mess up the reservation, but she was still very rude. I would only recommend this hotel during the day.

“Looks are sometimes deceiving...”

The hotel was very ecomonical and seemed a little seedy when we arrived, but the room was very satisfactory and clean. No problems with it at all. The staff was helpful when needed. Good restaurants and shopping was convenient to the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to use the hotel again.

Be ready to go left across 2 lanes very quickly after exiting the freeway

Dining

Cross I 95 and shopping centers and restaurants are abundant. Perkins, Japanese Steakhouse, etc are close (within 1 mile and easily found)

“Great Hotel”

I was very well pleased with the freindliness of the staff and cleanliness of the room. It was very quiet even though it was located near Interstate 95.

This is a solid buy for the price. Very clean and recently remodeled rooms. Convenient location of 95.
