Pros: Room size and location of the hotel.
The check in was promptly done and I received the key card and headed to my room. The key card is needed to operate the elevator. The room was a good size with a refrigerator; it was clean and the bath room was stocked with lotion, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner. I got the ice bucket, but could not locate a plastic liner for it. Went to the ice machine, which was not working, then I went to the front desk and the lady found a new liner and returned the bucket to me full of ice. Check out the next morning was prompt. A good experience at a good location.

Nice Hotel!

I stayed at the Hyatt Dulles with my husband and 2 girls. Our stay was great! The staff are very friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. It's a very business like hotel with very little families staying there. Even with it being business oriented we never felt unwanted. They have a gym, pool, vending machines and a small store for snacks which is great if you need something quick. The only concern I had was the hold they placed on my credit card. They do hold $50 a day for incidentals which is understandable (they don't mention this to you on check in, so just a heads up) but the next day I had another $140 hold that they were unable to explain. I'm waiting to make sure the holds drop off my credit card as they said they would but just be aware that it could happen. They have been very helpful so far in trying to resolve the matter. We would stay again even with the small mistake!

Wonderful experience

This hotel has a very upscale feel and experience even though my rate was similar to an economy chain. The room was of modern decor and very clean. The hotel staff was unbelievably friendly and professional, including main desk, housekeeping and the restaurant. The only drawback is there is not much near this hotel in the way of restaurants, gas station, etc for anyone who does not have a car. The hotel restaurant is extremely good with top quality food, but it is somewhat pricy. You definitely get what you pay for. Overall this is an excellent place to stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good hotel for overnight stay close to airport. It is clean and quiet. Only issue was that the pool was not available till after 5 pm.

Nice hotel, could improve with customer service

We recently stayed at the Hyatt for a weekend. Hotel lobby and room were clean the bed was too firm. During our stay there was always some sort of event taking place and noise level was quite high. I recently checked my bank statement and noticed that there were two charges to my account. I had called to inquire about this and was told that these charges were for bottled water provided to us by the hotel. There were no bottled water provided to us in our room. I've stayed in enough hotels to know what types of charges one could possibly accrue for a bottled water or room service and sad to say, we ALWAYS do a walk through as soon as we walk into our room after check-in to ensure any damages we find gets reported to the hotel staff before we even unpack and get comfortable and take notice of items that we be provided to us such as bottled water that didn't exist to begin with. Though this matter was taken care after much explanation over the phone I am disappointed by such mistake that a hotel could/would make, claiming a hotel guest charged 2 bottled waters to their room. Unfortunately, we're expected to stay at the same Hyatt and I do hope this type of mistake is prevented from happening again.
