“Excellent location”
The room was exceptional for the price and the location. Renovations were going on so the restaurant/pub was closed for lunch but other than that all was excellent. The location in Crystal City can't be beat with the Metro and underground Crystal City available right from the hotel. Easy access, friendly staff. Would definitely go there again.
“Close to metro”
Metro was down stairs from hotel, about 5 stops and you are in dc, one stop and you are at Pentagan Mall. The staff was great, hotel very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Hotel is in a business district .
“A Very Nice Hotel!”
The hotels location was great. We had access to everything. There was the Metro station under the hotel plus when we drove we were 5 minutes from everything we wanted to see. Beyond all of that the staff at the hotel were amazing. They made our stay as pleasurable as possible. The only thing that I will say as a concern is DC does not allow minors to go onto hot tubs, so of you are traveling with minors you should be aware of that. Otherwise it was an awesome stay.
“Good value”
A little lonely at night and few good dining options for dinner. Hotel restaurant over-priced for mediocre food. But the hotel was a great value for a family visiting DC. I always stay in the district for work trips but with three kids the option of a adjoining rooms for a great rate and a very nice pool for end of day relaxing was impossible to beat. I'd recommend it for families although the restaurant is to be avoided.
“bad shuttle service”
I picked this hotel for the free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. I was at the pick up point for about 15 minutes and called the hotel and no one answered. I called my wife who was at the hotel to call front desk and was told shuttle came every 20 minutes so I waited for 25 more minutes and no shuttle. The shuttle driver for Hyatt came by and saw me standing for the 3rd trip of him and offered to give me a ride. I got on and then saw the Marriott shuttle. I was not happy with the service shuttle but the manager comped the breakfast the next day. I was not impressed with the very small bathrooms. The pool and spa was very nice. The breakfast buffet is to expensive. The room was clean and close to the airport.
“clean nice room, unfriendly stuff and expensive parking”
the room was very satisfying but thats the only good thing. parking wasnt complimentary and was very expensive. 24$ a day for parking while having an expensive room is not acceptable. the stuff was unfriendly, i didnt feel welcome! although the hotel was in an upper class condition i wouldnt recommend it.
“Great quality and great location”
It is very convenient to connected by subway, easy to walk in during the raining day. It is also clean and comfortable, even better than those double-priced rooms in the downtown.
“Great place for the weekend - close to Metro”
Hotel is close to the Metro. Hop and Skip to downtown. Staff is freindly and helpful. Bar is okay, but drinks are pricey. Would stay here again. But other Marriott's are close by as well. Room was very clean.
“Enjoyed our Stay”
This was our first time at the Hotel and the area. The hotel was conveniently located on the Metro, which is great when you have kids!!! easy access to DC and all the Sites. Kid Friendly and positive atmosphere from the staff. Would return in the future!
“Excellent experience”
I traveled with my daughter and grandchildren during the weekend of 9/11. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us. We appreciated the shuttle from and to Reagan airport. It was also convenient to be able to go to the Metro without having to go outdoors. Staff even gave us a Metro map and showed me which trains to take to the places we wanted to visit. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
