“Crystal City - Right In the Middle, So Convenient!”

I have stayed at the Marriott Crystal Gateway each October for the last number of years while engaging in an annual conference held there. Although the property has some years on it, you would not know from its cleanliness and upkeep! The location is perfect, right above the Metro Line and the maze of tunnels that have an array of shops and restaurants, as well as provide access to many of the nearby locations without having to walk outside much at all (nice when it was raining so much while we were there!) Hot food is delicious from the catering team, although the box lunches of deli sandwiches are not as good. We had the Virginia meal, which was fired chicken, crab cakes, and many outstanding sides and veggies! The only suggestion I have is to make the entire hotel wireless . . . it would be a great way to step into the 21st century and serve your guests who are there to learn at a conference!

“First timer to D.C. - Will return here!”

The staff at Marriott Crystal Gateway were extremely kind and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It was so easy to get to the Metro and to any destination in D.C. with ease. It was nice to be able to park the car at the hotel and take public transportation everywhere. When I go back I will definitely stay here again! This time I would fly in to Reagan airport and use public transportation exclusively. The only thing negative about the hotel that I can recall was the availability of television stations. This was extremely poor. But I wasn't there to watch t.v. so I was overall very pleased!

“room service”

ordered two items on the menu, the operator repeated the order. it took one hour for the food to get there, once it got there, only had one item. i was told that i wouldnt be charged for the second item... i was anyway.

Definitely would stay here again. Very impressed with everything. Great location. Very easy access to Metro and shops. Excellent breakfast buffet. Roll-away bed was as comfortable as a regular bed. Wonderful fitness center, pool and jacuzzi. All the usual amenities were first class and better. And last, but not least, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

“Friendly Hotel”

In a city where service dosn't come with a smile, this midwestener found the service at the front desk, hotel shuttle, and conceriege to be very warm and friendly. The beds were nice and soft, and the rooms were very well decorated.

This Hotel was perfect for our family. It was clean, the food was good, the indoor pool was warm and it is adjacent to the metro station.

The only thing I can say is that "from the moment I set foot in the hotel, I had everything anyone would want from a hotel stay." The hotel overall, outdid my expectations!

“Excellent place to stay while visiting the DC area.”

Very clean and very quiet. Our room was two doors from the elevator and we were never bothered by hallway traffic.
