Considering I've never been to Alexandria before...I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel!

“surprise inside”

The hotel was easy to find--one of 2 Quality Inns in Alexandria. I thought it odd when we checked in that the face of the hotel had no windows. Once we checkedi n we found a quiet courtyard open to the sky with fountain and green grass was the center of the hotel. Nice breakfast choices, hot and cold, well maintained buffet.

“I know the next time”

it would have been a nice stay if the fridge didnt keep knock and lost power cause circuit breaker and Nisha didnt seem like she wanted to work, and i was a bother, my plane landed earlier and i call to see if i could checkin early. the gentleman the night before i arrive seem nice and that it wasnt a problem but when i call to get direction and to confirm,that is when i encouter a problem. even when i made reseravation i ask the agent to see if i can check in early as well and when i call the gentleman confirm that it was noted.

“Fairly close to metro”

It took us about 17 minutes to get the the Franconia-Springfield metro stop, which isn't that bad if you're going to be traveling on it all day. The doors of the hotel open to an inner courtyard with a fountain and it's very pretty, but not what I was expecting (doors that opened to a hallway inside) however, that did not make this a bad experience. We still felt completely safe and our room was clean, comfortable and affordable. The breakfast was also great! Nothing too special, but everything was hot, fresh and full even near the end of their serving hours. Would recommend!!

“good place to stay”

It is a fairly new hotel and the surrounding area was nice, food, walmart, and gas stations close by. The staff was nice and did not have any problems. Would stay there again.

“nothing to write home about”

It was a clean bed to sleep in and there was a 'mostly' edible complimentary breakfast in the morning. Other than that, I'm glad the family was tired when we got back to the hotel so the only thing we wanted to do was sleep. I'm also glad the kid screaming in the courtyard at 10:30 pm went to sleep as well. Perhaps a poor design to face all the rooms towards an echoing courtyard? I guess that's the trade-off to filter out road noise. Still, i wasn't that bad. Like I said, it was a clean place to sleep and I wasn't up all night worrying about the car in the parking lot.

“Decent hotel, great rates”

We were looking for a few rooms while working in the area and this one was perfect - great rates, convenient location clean and overall seemed like a great value for the money. I don't understand the negative reviews at all. If you want a 5 star hotel, pay for one. Don't expect to get champagne treatment on a beer budget!

“Complimentary breakfast was nice, but ...”

We enjoyed complimentary breakfast but we were very disappointed about the over all hotel service. Front desk staff was not kind at all. He was not informative at all. Our room was not clean. On a rainy day, there was a water leak under the window outside of our room. Hotel is located right behind the gas station on the busy street.
