The staff was professional and pleasant. The only disappointment was maid service. I didn’t have her come in the 2nd night because of the first night. A small thing—she left the bottle of shower gel where I had put it—on the side of the tub. Then she didn’t leave me any q tips and cotton pads. I don’t usually travel with them because they are routinely provided. The worst was when I found that she had not cleaned the toilet. As for the staff —they were great. Jose helped me get the iPad working. The two valets I interacted with were great. Balahal and Vis… cannot remember his name 😔. So one employee didn’t ruin my visit. The people in the restaurant and bar were awesome as well.
Although I love the location, the problem with this Ritz Carlton is the cleanliness level, or lack of it. It is a wonderful property, so I’m not sure why they have let it go like that. Dust on the lamps, toilets that have hairs, you get the picture. At this price point, they need to have a manager go through these rooms and fix things.
Have stayed at this hotel for many years. A little disappointing this time as housekeeping ignored requests. Tried very hard to spend some $ at the hotel buying some of their toiletries but after several requests, couldn’t get housekeeping to deliver or anyone to follow up. It’s little things like these that make a hotel outstanding or just join the rest of the meh pack.

My wife and I went to a Gala event and decided to stay over night. The service from all the staff was amazing and we wished we had stayed longer to be able to enjoy all the hotel amenities. We will definitely be back.

Hotel ambience was nice; however the room is dated. For the amount of money (daily rate), the rooms should be up to date.
I booked 4 rooms. My room had black stains on the carpet. It was also missing a sofa/chair to sit. No place to sit. Coffee pods we not restocked only had two regular and 2 decaf.
