Shuttle

Pros: Very modern appearance.
Cons: Shuttle service to and from the Metro.
Location: Smithsonian, and the Air and Space museum.
Shuttle to and from the Metro is sketchy. Westin Washington Dulles is isolated, and is a few miles from the Metro (Silver line) access point. Shuttle service only runs three times a day, and only if someone will be there. There is no sign up, so no one knows when you will be at the station. I was left standing there for 45 minutes in the cold.

Very convenient to the Dulles Airport

Only one low mark and that being the breakfast buffet. Hot food on the buffet was cold, the variety of selections was very minimal. A hotel that was this nice to stay in should have food to match.

Great hotel right by the airport

Got stuck in Washington overnight, luckily they had nice rooms for a fair price and the staff was really friendly and accommodating of my situation.

Conveniently located near Dulles Airport

The hotel was clean, quiet and nicely furnished with helpful and friendly employees. They have their own parking garage and a free shuttle service to the airport. The rooms are nicely laid out and comfortable. There was one problem with our bathroom; there were no towel racks. We had to step out of the shower, wet, and walk across the room to get a towel and then there was nowhere to hang the wet towel.

Awesome and great location

Easy in and easy out. Beautiful hotel. Quick elevators and super helpful staff. Bed was AMAZING! Loved the shower. Wow.

Rude welcome to VA

Desk staff was rude upon check-in and very nonchalant in problem solving not having enough beds for my family. The manager has to be called in order to reach a compromise.

Somewhat dissappointing

Pros: The room was comfortable and staff proved to helpful and efficient
Cons: Ensure that rooms are fully stocked with little amenities

I chose to overnight at this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the promised amenities. It was disappointing to realize that we had to request bathrobes and slippers (as promised in "room amenities). also missing were vanity and dental kits. These "little things" do matter.

This is a great hotel. The hotel has good room service, the staff are extremely friendly and willing to go the extra mile. They gave me a 2 hour late checkout due to having a later flight - so accommodating! The only negative about the location is that there is very little around the hotel as far as restaurants/shopping so if that's a concern of yours, just know this ahead of time.

No hot water

Pros: cleanness and restaurant
Cons: Aside the very specific problem we had everything else was good. Assuming it's not a chronic problem they have, then it's a pretty good hotel.
took a shower at night and the water was already midly warm. Thought pretty odd. Woke up early in the morning to ride to the airport to a cold shower Everything else was fine but the problem with the water was just to much in a very cold night.
