Nice deal for what seemed to be a great hotel.

I caught an awesome deal on expedia for this hotel. Originally it was a very nice. However, it was very confusing getting to, the hotel, there were hidden fees that I wasn't aware of, and the room did not meet my expectations. I would definitely recommend that this hotel does some changes or else their reputation will start to reflect their poor conduct.

Great location

The location was perfect for meeting friends from va and md. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. When I got in the shower - there was a glob of hair stuck to the shower which was kinda gross. I was a little startled by the $100 extra charge for incidentals. I knew they held a certain amount but wasn't expecting $100. It would've helped if that was told at the time of booking. The location was right off 495 which was great and there was no noise from cars. The walls were pretty thin though from room to room and I could hear kids running and screaming down the halls.

Nice but air condition makes loud noise

Very nice hotel but room 446.. the air Condition makes a really loud bang noise every few minutes that kept waking me up. Besides that everything was quite lovely. There is a little kind lady that works there during breakfast time over this weekend and she was the sweetest person I have ever met and came across. She deserves a much needed raise! She's the lady that seats everyone and gives us our checks. I can't remember her name but she's a sweet heart.

Pros: The Staff was wonderful and very pleasant and spoke with our children about the hotel as well.
We needed a last minute place to stay while traveling from visiting with family and friends in NC and we wanted to make a stop in DC on the way back. They offered a great rate and comfy beds. :)

Had an issue with my the lock on my room, waited a bit and was offered a free drink at the bar while they resolved the problem. Great staff, very attentive to the customer. Would definitely stay here again!

nice hotel off the beltway

Pros: Nice staff, comfortable room and bath. Most important it is right off the beltway.
Cons: Perhaps a more frequent Metro shuttle and a complimentary continental breakfast.
Location: Right off the beltway in Falls Church, near Tysons Corner malls. Believe closest metro has shuttle to Wolftrap (summer music and performances.)
Just passing through, weather conditions were bad, and found this hotel on Expedia right off the beltway. Like most Westins this is largely a business hotel though at least on this night offered free parking and wi-fi. It had a free shuttle on the hour to the nearby tysons corner malls. It had a more limited shuttle to the nearest DC Metro stop. It did offer to shuttle anywhere within a 3 mile radius by advance arrangement. The room was fine, the bed and bedding comfortable. Dual head shower. I wish these places would also offer some free breakfast. The cost for breakfast here is quite high. All in all I would certainly recommend the hotel.
