"Centrally placed Hotel in Northumberland"
Spent 3 nights at this magical Hotel. Felt instantly relaxed and chilled. Used it as a base to explore the surrounding area visiting Bamborough Castle, coast and town, Lindisfarne Castle and Priory, Alnwick Castle, gardens and town ( enjoyed the music festival there), Warkworth and Almouth. So much more to do.

"Nice country hotel"
The hotel was very nice on the whole, however, we were disappointed with a number of things. Although our roomt had a window, it was a high level small dormer window, which meant you could not see out of it. We had hoped for views over the lovely grounds, but the only way you could see out of the window was by standing on a chair! We were also surprised to find that the cleaner had left her dark blue overalls on the bed! (We hung them in the wardrobe!). Finally, I do not eat red meat, but was looking forward to the smoked haddock and poached egg for breakfast. However, when I ordered I was told they did not have any haddock left . This was a disappointment, however, I then ordered the vegetarian breakfast, which should have included an egg, veggie sausage, tomatoes and mushrooms. Unfortunately, when my breakfast arrived it consisted of one egg, one mushroom and one tomato! When I asked where the veggie sausage was I was told that they did not have any of those either. This resulted in a very poor breakfast for a 4 star hotel. Although we enjoyed our night away, it is unlikely that we would return to Linden Hall.

"The perfect B&B!"
This B&B is an amazing find. Mill House is stunning and the rooms beautiful and spotless. The owner, Karen, is a wonderful lady and made us feel so welcome. My husband and I are vegan, but this was not a problem for Karen. In fact nothing was too much trouble for her. On arrival she gave us freshly picked fruit and vegan ice cream and the breakfast the following morning was so delicious. We have visited several B&Bs over the years and rarely go back a second time. However, we will definitely return to Mill House as soon as we are able to.

"Best B&B in the UK?"
Chatton Park has to be one of the best B&Bs in the UK. Fantastic hosts - we were made to feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic breakfast and wonderful tranquil gardens and surroundings and central to all the main sightseeing attractions. Would recommend it without hesitation to anyone.

"Nice hotel new the water"
I had a small bit of difficulty identifying the hotel. (as did another guest who stopped me looking for directions) Parking was provided on the street, however I required a parking permit from the hotel to allow me time for check-out. Another parking facility was available, but it was further down the street, so not very convenient. The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of shopping, pubs/restaurants and walking trails. I had a clean comfortable bed and nice bathroom.

The Angel of Corbridge

Main Street, Corbridge - Map
"Perfect hotel for short stay"
We stayed at The Angel hotel for one night only, 2 adults and 1 child (6). We calling to inform the hotel we would be very late arriving at the hotel due to a delayed flight, this was not a problem and the hotel had staff waiting for us when we arrived at 00:45. Secure car park behind hotel. Once in the hotel it was very clear to see the hotel and staff take great pride in there reputation, the room was spotless (room 5) plenty bottled water/ tea / coffee / hot chocolate and milk. The beds were very comfortable, a play station for the kids to okay or watch a movie from the bunk beds plus another TV for us big kids to watch what we wanted. Breakfast was good, not a big selection but it is not a big hotel. Staff was very friendly. Honestly can't say anything wrong with this stay.

Hadrian Lodge B&B

"Peaceful tranquil setting"
Warm friendly welcome from staff in a peaceful setting very close to central part of Hadrian Wall. Room clean and very comfortable. Stayed one night only but will definitely go back again. Lovely home cooked food and plentiful good breakfast. There is a bar which is very welcome after a long day walking to relax without having to worry about driving back to hotel. Our children are grown -up but observing the children petting the lamb, riding on tractor and junior size jeep makes the place an excellent place for family with young children. There is a pond and fishing is available with equipment provided and I would definitely have go at next visit.
