This stay was a major disappointment. I had checked reviews ahead of time and was fairly confident that this would be a nice place to relax in the evenings while visiting Austin. Upon arrival, the exterior was lacking (inoperative front door, broken wobbly bench out front, cigarette butts, litter and weeds growing in front. The room was a similar experience. The carpet was extremely dirty and had areas with what looked like blood stains in multiple locations in the room, the fixtures and furniture were worn and needing updating, smelled like smoke even though they claimed it was a nonsmoking room, the elevators were very slow and not smooth in operation, and one night I only had enough hot water for a luke warm shower. I am not even sure how that happens in a hotel. The cleaning staff was friendly but there was a major communication barrier between cleaning staff and front desk help which I witnessed upon arrival. Front desk help was not impressive at any shift that I observed during my stay. When I went to inquire about checking out a day early the front desk help was very rude and unhelpful, not to mention the fact that she had a hard time prying herself away from whatever she was watching on her phone when I approached and acted like I was bothering her. Unimpressed in every way. Not worth the $270 “deal” I paid for a two night stay.

I didn't see this as a high end hotel, which is what i was looking for, it was average at best. Staff was meh.. not friendly, but not unfriendly per se. ɓreakfast meh...veey cheap and basic. No bottle water offered in room or breakfast, but they had some for sale 2$!! for a small, cheap, knock off brand purified water! Elevator was creaky, made me nervous so i took stairs. Pool and hottub were small, shaded, not really worth hanging out in. In the future id give up breakfast and pool for a nicer hotel. What i did like were the beds. Comfortable, clean, lots of pillows that were pretty nice, a.c. worked well, it had a bathtub that was long and i like that. We went for a concert at h.e.b. center and it was close, airport was close 25 min. Austin downtown was close 25 min. And so many food choices! The area felt clean, safe, not sketchy at all, and it was perfect for my needs. My only disappointment was i was trying to have a boushi vacation, as i only do this kind of thing every few years, and the hotel was nice, but not what id thought it would be with such a high rating on website. I'd give it a 6.5/7 out of ten and i was wanting an 8.5.

Property was in a decent area from everything. Staff were very unfriendly and at check-in seemed like they would rather be watching tv than checking me in. The elevator at the property was extremely noisy and seemed like it could possibly break down at any point. Shower in the room was stained and seemed dirty. Breakfast was decent and had a ok variety. I had to have my room key replaced twice during my stay due to them no longer allowing me into my room which was very inconvenient.

The rating on this hotel on Trivago was 4-stars. That is the most incorrect and deceptive statement I've seen. The furniture in the room was marked up and stained in several places, the bathtub floor was peeled around the edges and looked horrible. It should haven been rated 2.5 starts at best. I gave it such low ratings because of the claim of being a 4-star hotel. I would have never chosen this hotel if the condition would have been accurately revealed.

The toilet was broken and when we went and told the front desk they laughed about it and said there is nothing they could do and they couldnt exchange the rooms. Someone spilt dog food on the floor and we told the cleaning ladies and she looked at it said ok and walked away. 10 out if 10 would NOT EVER recommend

I just like this hotel. I stayed here multiple times and enjoyed it every time. The rooms are spacious, nicely appointed and clean. The breakfast is good and has a good variety. The staff is helpful and courteous. Very good value for the price.

It was strange that you had to walk all the way around the building to get inside from the pool as the pool door didn’t accept the key card. Then trying to get clean towels in our second day was a difficult task, asked front desk three times as cleaning lady said she couldn’t just give them to us.

At 1st glance it seemed fine. I had stayed there before, however there was rust and mold around the tub. Then there was an alarm on Saturday and the elevators stopped running. I was in a 3rd floor room, I am eighty and walk with a cane. So that was difficult, by Monday the elevator was still not fixed. My daughter and grandson were able to get my room changed to the 1st floor. The staff did not seem very friendly or knowledgeable about my reservation. I do not think I will ever return.

This place was absolutely horrible and disgusting. I had to change rooms 3x due to the smell of fresh cat piss in the 1st room, and the 2nd room had a broken drawer between the beds that stayed open. The 3rd room had a broken AC that wouldn’t turn on. Several of the outdated electric outlets don’t work, and it’s just a dirty place altogether. It’s owned by an Indian family but they weren’t even speaking English when trying to resolve my issues which was interesting. I chose to get a refund and slept in my vehicle after the 3rd room with major issues, I was done.

The property is very old and dirty. The elevator is very old and feels like it will break at any moment. Management of the hotel is clearly terrible. They are not taking action to update the facility. The bed sheets smelt clean. That a huge win. I think this would be less that an a 2 star hotel like a 1.8. Parking lot was nice a bright, which was a plus.

Location was okay. Homeless and druggies out in front of hotel. The hotel itself could use a update and the beds were hard so we went to Walmart and bought a mattress topper. The staff was friendly and check in was fast.

Weekend in Austin
The location was great, and the entire building felt safe, but it could have used a little updating. The entry light flickered so bad it felt like a disco, so we just left it off. The only other inconvenience was the a/c unit was a little tricky to get to work. You just had to press the buttons a little harder than you thought. Other than that, the room was very comfortable, good hot water and very quiet.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. The staff was courteous and the breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, sausage, yogurts, waffles, pancakes and more. Only the coffee wasn’t good. It tasted like the coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned but I thought that was minor.

This is not a business man or family stay this location is hardcore I saw an individual with his car jacked up with tools everywhere working on a car ppl hanging out in the parking area look like day laborers the restroom was filthy so I didn’t stay I left immediately but after three hour travel I needed to use the restroom

Economically priced, good place to stay
The room had a smell to it. One of the guests on my floor had their door wide open and sat shirtless in the hallway while on their phone... The room was spacious, had a couch, a desk, a table, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a television. The bed, for the most part, was comfortable, although it was not 100% clean. The carpet had a few stains on it. Given the location of the place, the space of the room, and the price - and there is no bolted joint door to the next room - I would stay here again.

Definitely not a 7.8 out of 10 stay as advertised. Room was dirty with dead bugs in the floor. I wouldn’t stay her again or recommend anyone stay here. Hate I spent money here

It was ok, front desk was unhelpful when I told them my AC wasn't working. Front clerk said he was new and suggested I talk to morning clerk. I slept uncomfortable that night. Morning clerk said "did you turn it on?" Of course, I tried to turn it on. Both clerks were unable to mail a letter for me. I assumed hotel sends out mail daily, regardless I found a Post Office and did it myself.
