“Excellent way to spend Sweetest Day!”

My wife and I spent the weekend with another couple for Sweetest Day. They were able to accomodate us on the same floor across from each other. The rooms were excellent. Can't wait to go back!

I would recommend the outlet mall for shopping.

“Great accomodations!”

I recently stayed 2 nights at the Blue Chip Casino and had a great experience. The grounds were gorgeous, room was very up-to-date and clean. Plenty of dining options right on the premises. I would definitely stay here again!

“Nice clean room”

We didn't have enough time to check out the amenities of the hotel but our room was very nice and the full stall shower was great. I'd stay there again if I was looking for a room in Michigan City.

“Housekeeping left door ajar”

The hotel was very nice with a few minor problems with the room. The shower leaked all over the floor when the shower door opened and you could not close the bathroom door...it kept hitting the door jamb. Also, housekeeping brought us more pillows that I requested and after they dropped them off, they left the hotel door to our room cracked open! I called security right away and told them what happened. So, from 7:30 - 11:30 our door was ajar!. They were very apologetic for the incident.

“It was a decent place”

I had to go to MC to attend a funeral. None of the other places in town seemed the least bit appealing, so I decided to try the hotel at the Casio. It had all the charm of a courtyard hotel, for the price of a full blown Marriott. I will say the entire staff was friendly, polite and professional. The only thing that bothered me a touch was, via expedia, I knew there were upgraded rooms available, but when I checked in, and wanted to give them more of my money, they told me they were booked, even after I showed them the website showed there were available rooms. It was a fine room and all, but I think it was twice as expensive as it should have been.

“Fun time”

Check in staff was OK but not overly friendly. Don't even think of checking in early--they don't allow it or even consider it. In room internet access was very spotty and I was told that they sometimes have a problem in the original building rooms. Restaurants were good.

“Amazing luxury for the price!”

We loved the hotel with it's very contemporary and clean design. The bed was comfy (pillows a bit hard), the room was immaculate, and the it had all the amenities. We enjoyed some gambling and then a great meal at a very reasonable price at the buffet! The dessert alone was worth the trip!

“Fun Getaway”

My wife and I will be back. Very pleasant. Morning buffet breakfast was only passable, but that is our only complaint.

“Amazing Room at a great price!”

Didn't even go to the casino, just wanted a nice hotel at a great price. Which it definitely was! Only small complaints is that all restaurants aren't open every night and while I was so looking forward to the hot tub it was way too hot in the pool room to make it enjoyable.
