When we arrived, the room they sent us to had a double bed and had not been cleaned. Our reservation was for a queen. My husband went to the office, and they offered us another room. We went to that room, and it too, had not been cleaned! She asked us to give her 20 minutes to clean it herself. We left. The only reason we agreed to stay for the 2nd room is because it was roomier than the first with a king. We came back. The room was cleaner, but there was dirt in the shower, the bathroom floor was sticky, and the refrigerator smelled. We also noticed when we came back that the steps to the door were broken and uneven. With my MS, it made it difficult to go up and down, even though it was two small steps. The description online also said there was a grill and a garden. Just so happened that just outside our room, there was a filthy grill, two lawn chairs on top each other (also dirty), and a few plants in pots sitting on a kid-sized picnic table! Finally, upset with Expedia because when we search for a motel or inn, we ALWAYS check the 'pet friendly' box. This inn was the first that came up. We took our dogs (a maltese and a toy poodle) with us. When the manager saw them, she told us it would be another $40 and that pets weren't even allowed! Then we told her we wanted our money back, and she let them stay instead. Worst experience with a motel/inn recommended by Expedia. Sorry, you asked...
