“Nice place to be”

The motel is clean and neat and people are all very friendly.. Price was in my range which sometimes can be hard to find... Even with a pool.. For the money I'd rate it a 9...

Short ride to the train station with nice parking that will take you direct into the Chicago loop. Everyting you need is here! Why pay the high prices in Downtown Chicago! Want the beach they have that also a short ride down the road.

“Good basic hotel”

The room is a good size and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is adequate with cereal, bagel, donut, milk, juice, and coffee. The room is cleaned daily and the hallway and front desk areas are kept neat. Location is close shopping and restaurants. Will stay again.

easy to find. safe parking near entrance. desk clerk greeted us right away and got us our keys and told us where to find room and other amenities and about breakfast. major chain casual dining across parking lot. shopping on next block.

The hotel was amazing considering it was a one star-hotel, but the pool was overloaded with chlorine. We asked the receptionist about it, and she replied that it was checked by the state every nine days to be sure teh chlorine levels were acceptable. My kids all had to get out of the pool because they started coughing deeply, and their eyes all stung. I didn't get my eyes under the water, but my eyes were very irritated, and my Mother came into the pool room for a little while, but had to leave because her eyes hurt. The next morning there were two people being very intimate in the pool, and the staff didn't know how to handle it. I believe they were asked to stop 'making out'. If you're planning on swimming, go to another hotel.

“THE POOL WAS CLOSED!”

The hotel staff was the best !!! NOW ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS BE A TOTAL NO SMOKING HOTEL. I WILL STAY AGAIN.

“Comfortable”

This is a comfortable hotel. It's best if you are just in need of a place to lay your head at night. If you are looking for ameneties or more of a "vacation" stay, i'd look elsewhere. No hairdryers or irons, the pool water was cold, the breakfast was sparse. But it was clean and the staff was friendly.
