Room Smelled Like MOLD!!Posted Sep 8, 2011
i stayed here once before in a different building and it is old but it did the trick ... so i booked again because of my previous experience and because no other hotels had vacancies near where i wanted to be .... well the room smelled like mold it was absolutely my worst hotel experience ever ... i will never book this hotel again ... and let me add that i am a person who is very easy to please and there isn't much that bothers me ... but this hotel is the pits!!

It was okPosted Sep 6, 2011
The place looked seedy but the room was clean and comfortable. We only needed an overnight stay and the price was right. Would not recommend for an extended stay.

Very cleanPosted Aug 23, 2011
A typical older motel that has been remodeled. We were very impressed with the cleanliness. Bed felt new, all bedding looked new, and pillows were comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay at this motel again. A great price on top of a good nights sleep!

Not a good experiencePosted Aug 25, 2010
When I arrived, the clerk knew my name before I told her. I asked how she knew it was me and she said "you are my only reservation for today." I should have turned around and walked out. The bathroom fixtures were very old, no lid for the toilet, glass shower, no tub. When I did shower, I stood in water up to my ankles. Upon arrival, the temperature was in the 90's and the air was turned off in the room. There was no alarm clock. I had to call the front desk to figure out how to turn on the TV, since there were 2 remotes. If you can't afford anything else, then this might be a place for you, if you like standing in water while showering.

Never again!!Posted Jul 7, 2010
I know now days most motels do not change the sheets every day unless requested. What we did expect though was for the room to be at least vacuumed, the trash cans emptied, and some fresh towels. My husband had to empty the trash can and we had to go ask for towels. I don't think the cleaning crew entered out room the whole three days we were there.

Do Not Stay Here !!Posted Jul 7, 2010
Do not stay here if you are expecting anything more than a bed. The motel was very run down. The room was very, very worn. The shower head was only about 4 feet high. No water pressure. I read somewhere that they had renovated the motel. If so, they must have done the renovation 20 years ago ! If I had not already paid for the room, I would have went elsewhere. Do Not Stay Here !

Interesting hotelPosted Dec 6, 2009
So, we did not pay much for this hotel. However, there are many hotels in this area for that amount. The room was clean. My kids (back home) were worried my car would get stripped in the parking lot because of the price, but that was not a problem. It is old, needs work, but was good for us. We just went back for a couple of nights, to see a sporting event at Notre Dame. This was inexpensive. We had an early, early, early flight out of Chicago (we got a package with the hotel and air flight), so I found something that was inbetween South Bend and Chicago! This worked. I would stay there again if this is all I wanted to spend. Good deal. Oh! The shower was a bit tricky, but there was hot water. Also, the towel was tiny. But, it was clean and worked for this occasion!

Horrible DivePosted Nov 5, 2009
I have stayed in a few really cheap hotels but this was the worst. First the front desk doesn't have a computer and has a hand written sign that says no cooking in the rooms. The room smelled terribly and the general maintenance was VERY poor. Never Again!
