“Pleasantly surprised!”

Hotel was everything you expect from a hotel. Convenient, clean, and stylish. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the bed and tray of fruit and water was a nice touch. Too bad I only could stay one night.

This hotel is fantastic. Great & friendly staff always willing to help with whatever you need. rooms clean & beds super comfortable. Excellent location as well. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Nottingham. 5 Star service at a reasonable price.

“Luxury for less”

Recent stay on a short trip to Nottingham. Staff was highly attentive and surpasses expectations. Room and bathroom is large by European standards and well outfitted. Location of hotel is ideal. The only downside is complicated parking. Highly recommended overall.

“Everything as expected”

My room was as expected, and the staff from the front desk, housekeeping, and the restaurant were courteous, professional, and helpful. I had noted something I would be needing on the third day of my stay, and the associate I checked in with and made the request to, saw me on that particular day and asked if my requests had been satisfied. With all the people staying there, I was impressed that she remembered.

“Just Sufficient”

Nothing special, nothing terrible. Staff is not particularly detail oriented. I've stayed over the weekend serveral times. Lots of drunken hen / stag parties on the weekends, loud, don't expect to get much sleep.

“Poor service, old beds”

What used to be a good quality hotel is in need of refurbishment and a staff attitude adjustment. The beds are sagging and old -they sway and creak so much that it's not unlike sleeping in a canoe. Avoid if you have a bad back! Our requests for non feather pillows were ignored. We were kept up till 12.30 by a loud party in the hotel. When asked when the noise would stop, the staff had no idea. Add to that, we were woken at 6am when the staff decided to figure out who had illegally parked in the valet area by sending an alarm call to everyone in the hotel via the tv system. They did not apologize or explain this brilliant scheme to the scores of upset customers. I used to like and trust the Park Plaza, but now I will take by money elsewhere.
