The hotel is old and smells and the room floor wasn’t very clean. However, the bed and sheets clean and confortable. The bathroom is totally made of plastic. However, we slept well and the staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful!

Fast hotel Lens
Very good overnight hotel. Nice and clean, pleasant and very helpful staff. Commercial area nearby with lots of resteraunts also another resteraunt 2 or 3 minutes away. Overall a good choice.

Not the worst hotel
The hotel served its purpose late at night with four beds in the room. I would look elsewhere before using again.

An ideally situated hotel for travel thru France
The hotel was comfortable and just big enough for our family of four, good for a one night stay. The hotel location is close to the main routes and not far from the ferry ports. The condition of the hotel is a bit tired and worn, but the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is near the retail park where there are many restaurants, fast food places (with childrens play parks) and large shops, like Decathlon and shopping centre.

Friendly staff
The man who took care of everything was very nice and helpful. We had trouble both evenings with our key card not working. He came out and reprogrammed it without a fuss. His English was excellent (my French is not good).

Good hotel if you need a room for the night.
Rooms are really small but clean. The bathroom/shower are very tight quarters. Had to turn sideways in shower to apply soap/shampoo. The man looking after the breakfast was very friendly. As mentioned above, it is okay if you need a hotel for the night and close to the highway.

Arrived really late
The ferry was late and we arrived 01:30 am thought we would have to sleep in the car but the staff let us in and we had a good night sleep in a clean modern looking room thank you

Great stopover if late for Calais coming home
We stopped here as we arrived late at night and were worried about missing le shuttle through eurotunnel. Instead we stayed here and got up early. The hotel is about 1 hour from eurotunnel, so is far enough away not to get caught up in trouble, but because its straight down the a26, is guaranteed to be 1 - 1 1/4 hours to the tunnel.The hotel sleeps four, reception is only manned during the day, but the credit card you use the bookimg generates your key and gets you in out of hours. We slept, used the small but serviceable shower and left. so for 50 euros great value

We were told by hotels.com that breakfast was included but when we checked in we were asked for a further e24.00 to cover breakfast. This made it a little disappointing!

Simple hotel, we stayed with our two children in a large room. Tiny bathroom (well, it is France so used to this) and no aircon (glad it was only mid 20's).

Clean and done what we wanted
Hotel was clean. Friendly staff. We got a great cheap stay. If you want luxury this is not for you. But a bed for the night or 3 for us it does the job. My top priority is cleanliness and IT was. The only critism would be the bathroom in our room for four of us was way to small. I'd stay there again. Wifi not great.

Stopover en route to Disney. Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurants nearby for evening meals. Had 2 x family rooms. Will definately use again.

The village has nothing to offer for tourists. There is one bar & grill next door to the hotel & that is pretty much that. Once the bar & grill closed at about 11 there was no were else to go.

Simple budget hotel right on the motorway network, convenient for stopover. Nice restaurant next door. However the hotel has had a name change since we made our booking, making it difficult to find! Sat nav told us we had arrived but no Alkna Hotel good job I'd printed off the Expedia details - We recognised it from the picture, Now called Express Hotel

we stayed here in a family room with our 2 boys, on our trip from Paris to bruges. Functional clean room. Windows effectively keep out the noise of the motorway. There are plenty of choices of places to eat: KFC, choice, flunch, poivre rouge (restaurant & grill) and a lidl. The hallways did stink of cigarette smoke, but fortunately the rooms did not. The toilet/shower is tiny, so larger people may struggle.

Reception staff very friendly and helpfull. However, the overall smell of smoking in the hotel was a bit annoying and the blanket provided on the bed was far from clean a fact which unfortunately we only found out the following morning. We don't have high aspirations for a budget hotel but clean bedding is a must and being able to breath fresh air is a minimum requirement. Breakfast was good.

Stayed here for one night en route to Paris. You check yourself in via a machine outside and we had a family room with 4 beds in it, a double and bunk beds. Beds were comfy, small shower / toilet room. That's it. I got what I paid for and the breakfast was really good. Clean hotel near the motorway and in an industrial area from what I could tell but surrounded by other hotels. There was a good looking restaurant / grill place about 100m away from the hotel. You cannot miss it. We arrived very late so didn't need anything. Vending machines in the foyer sold good snacks like waffles and also hot chocolate for the kids. Would stay here again if doing the same trip

Good Location .
Have stayed here a few times . Last time I paid by card it did not ask me for card details . This time I had to pay before I got the key so I hope I will not get charged twice .Will always use this as it is convenient and can gain access at very late times . My only criticiism was that the stairs and coridoors smelled of sweat and cigarette smoke . Room clean and tidy .Very good value

the smallest room I have ever experinced
checked in by a fantastically friendly member of staff.allocated a room and it was a rabbit hutch,could'nt open the bathroom door and when you did get in there was no room to stand at the washbasin as the toilet was so close.opened the bedroom window which came so far across the bed when I got up hit my head on it cutting myself.we have stayed in many budget hotels in france and this goes to show you only get what you pay for I would rather pay an extra couple of euros and stay in The B and B chain.

Hotel lived up to my expectations, you get what you pay for. Still, it was clean and my room was OK, except the highway was right outside my window which made it impossible to sleep. 20 Tv channels on a flat screen, 21 inch I think. Good breakfast buffet vending machines by the entrance and a nice cleaning lady. Well worth what i paid for it but not a cent more. Had to pay 5€ extra each day for my dog and the manager told me to keep her in the kennel the whole time. It's a dog not a walking pile of feces, I was very offended by his attitude. Otherwise a decent place to stay for one night or two. Not more.

Pour une nuit en depannage ça passe
Seulement 3 sachets de savon liquide pour 4. Pas de savon liquide dans le distributeur. 3 serviettes pour 4, c'est ecoresponsanble. Un vieux gobelet qui a vu du jus de fruit resté sur l'étagère Heuseusement que la litterie était bonne sauf l'odeur prononcée de détergent des draps.
