“Will return again”
This Best Western was pretty good. It was in a great location, and the staff were more than willing to help us with a bit of site seeing in the area. Very pleasant and friendly. Our room was clean and neat as well, a big plus in our books!
“Overpriced for the quality of the hotel.”
Knew what I was getting but it is overpriced for the quality. I guess proximity to NYC (45min) gets it a boost.
“Won't be going back”
While I have used this hotel for many years as my sister and I do our annual shopping trip to the Palisades Parkway Mall. It was close and cheap and since we don't spend any time there other to sleep and shower, not a big deal. Well this year I have changed my mind. The room next to us decided to party and at about 4 am, I called the front desk to complain. While they did send security up to put a stop to it, the security never came back around to ensure that the party actually broke up. The drunken loadness was off and on and all over the halls for more than the next hour. They were beating on various doors mad at whomever put a stop to the party. One would expect when a problem is brougth to the hotel's attention that they stay on top of it and confirm that it has ended. Worst night's sleep of my life. I will be paying more money next year to a different hotel. One with thicker walls!
“Decent hotel”
Decent hotel for a decent price.

As noted above - location and price ruled the day for me in choosing this venue. It was basic, certainly not luxurious - more a motel than a hotel and certainly not next to the Hudson (though a short walking distance away), but my rides were meeting me there and the hotel was close to the interstate. The accommodating front staff made up for my disappointment that there was no exercise room or pool and that one had to go up stairs to rooms without the convenience of an elevator. Rooms were basic - nothing charming but comfy. The breakfast was a nice add-on to the room - served in a restaurant setting. Overall cannot say I was impressed (certainly not a place I'd vacation at) but for my purposes it was serviceable and as I noted the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
