The hotel was ok, the beds could be a little more comfortable. I enjoyed the fact that our room had a small kitchen and refrigerator.

BEST inexpensive hotel in Waikiki

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: everything!
Cons: It would be nice if the TV was larger than 27"
Location: It's two blocks from the ocean ... next to bus stops taking you all around Oahu ... close to the heart of downtown Waikiki ... away from the NOISE!!
I enjoy 10 glorious January days each year in Waikiki. When I visit, I stay at the Ambassador. Why? 1. it's CLEAN 2. a friendly and professional staff 3. it's SAFE and QUIET 4. it offers a full kitchen, unobstructed view of the ocean, private balcony, basic comforts one would expect in a hotel room 5. the rack rate is a fraction of what you will pay for a Waikiki area room offering these same features

ワイキキビーチまで少し歩きますが、料金は安いしキッチンは付いているし満足です。

Disappointing Hidden Fees

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: The room appeared to be clean.
The check in staff were polite but not friendly. There was no explanation regarding the unavailability or selective parking availability. I was told there was no parking available while the person directly in front of me was provided a parking spot. I was told I had to park across the street and another hotel. It was $20 per night to park & a bit inconvenient. There was also a resort fee of $20 per night although there was nothing that would qualify this hotel as a resort. The walls were so thin I could hear someone in the next room snoring. The air conditioner was very loud, so loud it interfered with normal conversation. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unsatisfied ..

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Nothing.....We were disappointed in the room...3 single beds...very sterile atmosphere....not too pleasing.
Cons: Everything...as a couple we did not appreciate having 3 single beds..stark white bed coverings....very sterile atmosphere.
Location: We did not stay any longer than one night so cannot ascertain the surrounding facilities.
Arrived late.....hotel not as pleasing as expected.

街中までも10分ほど歩けば着く。 買い物しながら歩いていれば、ビーチまで行くのも苦ではありませんでした。

ワイキキ近し。

Posted Jan 20, 2015

Hotel is a bit outdated, but clean. Hotel staff was very friendly, even gave us board games for our younger ones after their official hours. Our suite had new carpet, a new TV and comfortable beds. If you can overlook plain white Sheetrock walls with some chips, some snags in the comforters, older in-wall A/C and heating units and a 60s-style kitchen, this was well worth the money. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

The location is good, but the facilities are old.

Location: location is good
The total price including parking is more than 150 each night. The room where I stayed is near the street and close to the elevator, very noisy. The hotel facilities are old.
