“Excellent hotel to stay in while visiting Waikik”

Nikki was so nice and attentive to me. I talked to her every night as I was trying to adjust to the new time zone. I travel a lot and enjoyed staying here. Do your research and ask for a upgrade, get a spa service and you get an upgrade. They have customer appreciation per week and the manager serves a drink called The Wipeout exclusive of Aqua Aloha and Spa Waikiki. I most enjoyed the family philosophy and the entire staff made it a great hotel stay. I'll stay here on my return trips to Waikiki!!!

“A great start to a dream vacation”

Great staff! Very helpful and always pleasant, even when we forgot to bring our towel card down to the front desk on our way to the beach. They even went out of there way to help us print off our airline tickets for the next leg of our trip. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom could use an upgrade but it was clean. Oahu was the first island of our visit to the Hawaiian islands and staying here was a no hassle start to our dream vacation. Would definitely recommend this hotel and if I ever get the chance to return to Oahu I will be staying here.

“Great stay. Can't wait to go back!”

We had a great experience with this hotel and would definitely go back again. Our room was very spacious and clean. We also had a nice view of the mountains from our balcony (*we stayed on the 10th floor...had we been any lower our view wouldn't have been nearly as nice). The front desk was very helpful and gave us alot of great advice on how to get around the island. This is NOT a luxury hotel but it was definitely worth the price we paid (and MORE)! If you plan to stay in your room for your entire trip, you may want to look elsewhere. We went to Oahu to explore Hawaii and were only in our room to sleep and shower. This hotel was more than enough for us! Mahalo to the staff at Aloha Surf! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

“great place”

I was surprised at the quality of the hotel. I did not expect this nice of a place. The reservation said two twin beds and I did not notice this until we were in the airport. I was prepared to pay for an upgrade or whatever it took to have a larger room. When we checked in the front desk told me that the room had a double a twin and a sofa sleeper. Perfect for myself and three kids! Location is good, just a short walk to the beach. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Waikiki.

“great surf theme”

Great location, 3-4 blocks or 10 min walk to Waikiki Beach. The hotel pool was too small and cannot accomodate a lot of people though so that was a little disappointing. Aslo the hotel has nice flat screen tv's in their rooms but they are a little small.

“Helpful staff, convenient location”

We stayed 4 nights and found the location very convenient. The Expedia desk in the lobby was very helpful in planning activities. Front desk was very thoughtful. We found it easy to walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Don't miss sunset at Duke's.
