“I will tell everyone who visits Wiakiki to make time to stay at the Lotus...”

From the moment we drove up to the entrance door of the Lotus , our spirits were quieted and filled with peace. It's entire staff was warm and caring while meeting our every need. The presentation of the entry was exquisitely fashioned: One immediately had a sense of the simplicity of visual art which is what the Lotus is about. It is a reflection of rare beauty. Surrounded by the warm inviting waters of the Pacific Ocean, tropical breezes of the islands, coupled with the majestic engergy of Diamond Head provided a rejuvenation on many levels to ones self.

“Good Experience!!!”

I really enjoyed my stay at "The Lotus". One of the best things about it is its location, away from the craziness of Wakiki. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcome.

“Quite, eligant hotel jut outside of city life!”

This hotel was wonderful. Very quite and relaxed location. It was a short walk from Waikiki, Diamond Head, and many other attractions, but if want to big in the middle of the city life this hotel may not be for you. I would definitely go back to this hotel for another visit.

“Was Ideal for what I wanted first time to Oahu,”

This place was perfect all the way around for what I wanted to do In Oahu. Staff was great, parking was great, away from downtown. The short walks to food or shopping the perfect end to any day / eve. Very quite and relaxing and for anything else, you walk or drive.

“Superb customer service-This hotel is a must”

I cannot say enough about this hotel. We were upgraded to an ocean view room,as it was our wedding anniversary. Every staff member, from housekeeping to management were so helpful, and couldn't do enough for you (without being intrusive). We were very impressed with the customer service .The room was large and had a wonderful view of the ocean and of course Diamondhead. I was a little concerned reading the reviews of the distance to Waikiki. It's only a 5-10 minute walk , and it's so nice to be away from the the noise and bustle , but close enough to walk. The beach is a minute away, and is very quiet, except at the weekends. There was not a coffee maker in the room, but we asked the front desk, and one was delivered asap. The fridge is also handy. If you like noise, crowds and nightlife, then this is probably not the hotel for you. If you want a quiet, serene hotel with excellent service, this place is a must.

“Bliss at the edge of Waikiki”

This hotel is right outside of Waikiki; close enough to be a 5 min taxi ride away from all the action that Waikiki has to offer (restaurants, shopping, beach, etc.), yet far enough away from all the noise to be quite blissful and relaxing. The rooms are large, clean, and inviting, being the former "W" at Diamond Head. The new management has renewed this establishment as a boutique hotel, and it functions well as such, with a tranquil east asian-influenced feel to the lobby and rooms. The staff was so friendly and accomodating, I instantly felt "at home" at this hotel. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back for future weekend getaways.
