“super friendly staff; some rooms small”
We had a very positive experience overall. Lots of other reviews talked about the elevators, so we were wary; but there was no problem. The staff was extremely nice, especially to our 8 month old baby who tended to get up at 3 am because of the time change -- we took him to the lobby, and the staff helped us play! The room was very comfortable, but it was small. We had one of the for-looks-only balconies -- every other room has a real vs ornamental one. The only drawback we found was that if people were staying in the rooms next door, we could hear every word of their conversations if they were on their balcony and our balcony doors were open (we prefer fresh air to AC). But otherwise, it was a great stay. Comfortable bed, decent price, great staff.
“One of the most comfortable hotel stays I've ever had”
The hotel staff was very courteous and informative. The room was comfortable, especially the bed. I loved how we had a microwave and fridge in the room. It was very useful since we were there on a limited budget and only staying a couple days. The bathroom was a bit small and it would've been nice to have the sink area away from the shower. The pool was very nice, just missing a hot tub. That would've been helpful from our aching feet and backs from all the walking we did! the location is great. Close to everything so we were able to walk or take the bus everywhere. We live in Maui and were expecting more "big city attitude" and didn't experience that at all at this hotel. The only issues we had was the room keys didn't want to work when we checked in. Had to go back to the front desk a couple times.
“Very satisfied”
Close proximity to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and walking distance to Duke Kahanamoku beach was good for us . Not so close to Waikiki . That requires a little walk. But we didn't mind that at all. Bus stop right by the hotel was a big plus for us. No problem with the pool. Adequate for a nice dip and for morning coffee. Loved our balcony. Opened the sliding doors and sat on the balcony every day. Enjoyedthe 24 hour coffee machine in the lobby and the free apples at the front desk. Paid parking in the hotel was adequate. Might be cheaper at the Fort DeRussy parking garage right across the street. . Front desk staff provided excellent service and were extremely helpful. The hotel provided beach towels everyday. That too was a big plus. Price was right. Big screen tv was awesome. Had 2 queen size beds as requested.
“satisfied”
relatively close to Waikiki and quite cheap.
“good place near everything”
This is a cute hotel, nice staff and helpful, everything is right there and a close walk to the beach, the spa is small but they give a great massage. I would stay there again and recommend this hotel.
“Very nice will always stay here on stops thru HNL”
Great for the money clean and convienent
“would stay there again”
The staff was very pleasant and helpful, The hotel was clean, located close to all the attractions including the beach, and my over all expericence was pleasant.
“Good stay.”
Comfortable, convenient and met my expectations.
“great place to stay at.”
the hotel was very welcoming. it was close to everthing shopping mall, great eating places close by red lobster, todai, outback, bennihanas, and all the famous hotels within walking distance also waikiki. I would highly recommend it.
“Honolulu visitor”
Great hotel! Only drawback was that early check-in could not be done. Because of the wait, the staff was very accommodating and gave us a great room with all the amenities we were hoping for and an amazing view! Everyone was friendly from housekeeping staff to the front desk and the apples at the check-in desk were an added bonus! Highly recommend!
