Not as advertised but good location and cleanPosted Nov 12, 2013
The Jacuzzi tub was actually just a large soaking tub with no jets and no stop for the drain. The bose speakers did not work. However the hotel is in a great location and is the best price in Waikiki.

a pleasant stay in the big cityPosted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had an excellent time. Enjoyed the nice, large room, the whirlpool tub, bidet and swimming pool... and of course the continental breakfast.

Very good location to beaches, restaurants. Rooms very dated, basic but full fills sleeping comfort needs. service was polite, fast & nice. nothing special about the building or rooms; good basic hotel for the price.

Best Deal Of The MonthPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Very big room, it included a kitchenette, morning breakfast and a very friendly environment.
Location: Shopping through Waikiki and going to the Beach.
My partner and I have been having weekly get--a-ways, by far this was our best experience.

Past its bestPosted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rooms very dated, though spacious enough. Old sound system in room not functioning and TV ancient. Every night when doors closed to lanai, cigarette smoke smell became very apparent in non-smoking hotel room. (fresh smoke not odor) The swimming pool was very small, not as it appeared to be in the promo material. The pool could only be described as a plunge pool suitable for 5/6 people. Also only 3 sun lounges (sun after 1pm). The staff were generally courteous and helpful. Overall I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

good hotel and staff. location a little less so.Posted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Right across street was the tourist trooly center--very convenient.
Cons: Absolutely no complaints about anything but the location
Location: Lots of evidence of partying and "ladies of the night" when leaving for sightseeing in the AM. We had no problem with the local "denizens" however
Easy accss, very friendly and cooperative desk staff. That section of Lewers Street seems to be a litle closer to the "red light district" than s ideal for a family with children. But, I must say, there was no intrusion into our privacy or enjoyment of the stay. The ad said three blocks to the beach but it was mor like 3 blocks to Kalkaua Street.

5 Day StayPosted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: Great location in Waikiki for nearby shopping and dining.
Carpeting needs steam cleaning in the worst way and the t.v. reception was poor. Staff was very helpful and nice.

Decent Hotel close to two main busy streetsPosted Jun 21, 2013
Pros: Hotel is close to all the major shopping mall and a short walk to waikiki beach. Staff were friendly and I liked their continental breakfast
Cons: Rooms and halls needs improvement. I saw some paint coming off on the 8th floor of the west side building and carpet had a big stain.
Location: Hotel is close to everything from shopping to selection of fast or high end food.
Hotel is close to bus stop and several high end shopping mall.
