Nothing more than an average 2.5 Star HotelPosted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: Spacious rooms and helpful staff.
Cons: Needs an upgrade to the facilities, decor etc.
Location: Decent location - close to restaurants, shops and grocery stores. 5 mins walk from the Waikiki Beach.
Nice enough - but don't expect it to be anything more than a 2.5 start hotel. The lobby is simple, the staff nice, the one bedroom unit quite spacious. On the down side - not amenities including pool, concierge services and the not very clean to look at (e.g. stains on the carpets, chipped paint etc.)

Good price but not recommendable.Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Close to centre of Waikiki and fresh water in the lobby. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean apart from shower.
Cons: There was nothing luxurious about the entrance, the lobby or the corridors to bedrooms.
Location: 5 minutes from the beach, close to shops, restaurants and buses. Jinroku the best Japanese restaurant I've been to very close by!!
When I arrived my shower was full of sludge. They dealt with it straight away but didn't exactly make up for the nasty experience. The bathroom could have been completely re-cleaned and towels replaced etc..

The location of hotel is very goodPosted Apr 17, 2014
Location is very good except the road cleaning trucks make noise. But that is beyond hotel's control. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They greeted every-time we met them which felt good. Room was spacious and clean.

Very good budget accommodationPosted Apr 14, 2014
Very friendly and helpful staff, great location and the rooms are clean. There is no pool however when the beach is so close who needs a pool.

Good valuePosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Pros- Clean rooms, pleasant staff, great location and value
Cons: Cons- Old style air con unit are loud. No privacy curtain only a blackout curtain so either everyone sees what your doing or have no natural light.
Location: Too much to mention, it's very centrally located and 2 blocks from Waikiki beach so Hononlulu is right on your doorstep.
Stayed for 5 nights and found it to be very comfortable. It's more like a serviced apartment than a hotel resort as its essentially a room with a daily cleaning service and no other facilities or services that come with the larger resorts. But that's fine as Honolulu has so much going on you're much better off enjoying what it has to offer (beaches, bars, restaurants, shopping etc) than staying in a self contained resort as some of the larger ones are.

Good, clean hotelPosted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: Room size, fantastic employees, coffee and newspaper.
Location: Great central location. Close to ABC stores, beach, restaurants and markets. Bus stop down the street. No lack of activities in Waikiki and area.
The hotel is exactly as described. Good, clean, basic hotel less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. We booked a junior suite, room was huge and very clean. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot were a bonus. Coffee served every morning in the lobby as well. Close to everything with lots of restaurants nearby. Food pantry down the street and Safeway a mile away. The only downside is street noise. If you are a light sleeper take earplugs, it is noisy. The staff, as everyone mentions are fantastic. They make staying in the hotel a pleasure. From front desk to the ladies that clean the rooms, the nicest people. I would take my ear plugs and definitely stay there again.

Good hotel at excellent locationPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: It was well run and had a high walkability score.
Location: Waikiki beach has many attractions and other venues museums, acquarium etc were within walking distance.
We upgraded our room to the west side. Rooms there were much bigger, sunnier, and had a balcony. Worth every penny of the $15/day upgrade. Staff was very accomodating and its central location made it easy to get to the beach and other restaurants. Tour companies were very good at pickups allowing us to go without a car easily. A block north was a large grocery store the Food Pantry which took care of many of our needs. A lot of shopping in the area and many good restaurants.
