“somewhat satisfied”

Once we found the hotel, (it has a really small sign) We checked in, then found out we had to pay $20.00 per day to park our car in their parking lot.. When we got to our room, I went into the bathroom , turned the light on and could'nt believe the roach's crawling on the counter and the floor. I immediatly called the front desk, explained what I saw, the person at the counter was so nice. He sent someone up to the room with another room card with sincere appoligies. The room they gave us was a suite on the top floor. (at no extra charge) It was beautiful. I don.t think we would stay there again though. We didn't let oue expeience there ruin my husbands 50th birthday gift.

this was the first time I made arrangements through expedia, The next time I will take note of the rateings the hotels have. We stayed at a 3 star hotel, because of the rates. Next time our choices will be higher.

“Location is perfect”

The hotel's location is simply perfect. Everything is within a block or a few blocks away. If you want convenience, this is the place for you. The room itself is very good as well. The sheets are clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom is room enough. The rooms are actually big and each room has 2 queen beds, a microwave and a coffee maker. This is the 2nd time i stayed with this hotel and in both cases, I am impressed and satisfied. The only minor complaint that I will have is the towel situation. On our 2nd day as we were heading out to Hanauma Bay, we needed towels, and they said they ran out. We were disappointed but compared to the convenience and the great location of this hotel, I am willing to overlook that. The staff is very helpful and corteous too. Overall, i will go back and stay there again. I will give 5 for location and overall 4 stars... Thank you again. My family had a wonderful time.

“OUR RECENT STAY”

OVERALL THE AQUA WAVE HOTEL WAS JUST GREAT.VERY CLOSE WALK TO THE BEACH,AND SHOPPING ALL AROUND AS WELL,MY ONLY BAD THING TO SAY IS ABOUT THE PARKING,THERE IS LIMITED PARKING AVALABLE.PLUS 20.00 PER NIGHT IS A LITTLE HIGH.BUT OVERALL I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

“Terrible Parking, Extremely noisy, AC too cold, not handicap friendly”

You have to cut your day short to go back to the hotel just to get a parking spot. Staff also park in the hotel parking.

“Can't wait to go back”

This hotel was great for the price. It was very clean and the staff was super. The bed linen had crisp white sheets using a white coverlet. It gave the appearance of cleanliness. The bed had wonderful fluffy pillows and my husband and I enjoyed a restful sleep. The room was modernly decorated with updated features which included a flat screen TV. The bathroom displayed a clean modern feel as well. The lobby area had two restaurants, convenience store with a nice assortment of souvenirs along with spa and business center. The hotel was close to beach and downtown shopping area. This hotel was a perfect location for my husband and I to frequent the local area hot spots.

When to go

We went 1st week in October with was perfect timing. The weather was great as it seems to be always in Hawaii.

Perfect location, close to International Market Place, 1 block to the beach, close to all the necessities needed and steps to all the fun that Waikiki has to offer.
