This Hawaiian hotel is a colorful beacon near the eastern edge of Waikiki's beach district. Inside, hallways display muted tones and circles of light filled with palm-frond shadows. The open-air lobby adjoins the pool deck, where complimentary wireless Internet access is available.
The Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel terrace and pool deck are the center of activity from morning until evening. Provided with complimentary cooler bags, guests select from assorted American and Asian fare and may take their breakfasts to the beach, poolside, or their rooms. On the terrace, Tiki's Grill & Bar hosts live Hawaiian entertainment nightly.

The Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel guestrooms are decorated in a hip retro Hawaiian style. Dark Indonesian teak furniture is accented by natural tones of wicker and tropical colors. Bathrooms feature curved shower rods for a roomy feeling behind kappa-print shower curtains.
All rooms have 32-inch flat-panel TVs with complimentary HBO, pay movies, and video games (surcharge). Also included are in-room safes (surcharge), compact refrigerators, and daily newspaper delivery.

A complimentary breakfast featuring American and Asian cuisines is served each morning on the pool deck. Guests may fill complimentary cooler bags with their choices for a "Breakfast on the Beach," which is served from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM.
Tiki's Grill & Bar - On the hotel's second floor, overlooking Waikiki's main street and beyond to the ocean. Pan-Polynesian ambience with palm-wood flooring, carved figures. 30-foot, manmade volcano. Indoor and outdoor dining. Exhibition kitchen. Pupus (appetizers), tropical drinks, Polynesian-inspired main courses. Nightly contemporary Hawaiian entertainment. Lunch and dinner served, bar open until late evening.
Wolfgang Puck Express - Fast food in sidewalk-cafe atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor dining. Open kitchen. Pizzas, salads, sandwiches. Beer and wine. Lunch and dinner.
Cold Stone Creamery - On the ground floor. Premium ice cream, freshly made cones, made-to-order creations. Open from late morning to late evening.
Recreation
This Waikiki Beach hotel provides an outdoor pool and terrace area.
Surfboards, boogie boards, kayaks, ocean rafts, snorkel sets, and umbrella-and-beach-chair sets can be rented on Kuhio and Waikiki beaches, which are directly across the street. Outrigger canoes and catamarans provide classic Hawaiian adventures.

“CAN NOT WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!! LOVED EVEYTHING ABOUT THIS TRIP AND HOTEL”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! The staff was great and friendly, the staff at the events desk was great also she had done a lot of the activities and recommended to us what she thought we would enjoy....and we did!!! The breakfast was so helpful and saved us money. Even the people at the bell desk would ask us if we needed anything when we passed by. The hotel was in a great location, its near tons of food, shops and the beach is across the street what more can you ask for.

“Fantastic stay”
The staff was very welcoming upon check-in. We arrived early, and they offered to call my cell phone to notify us when the room became available. We also got an upgrade to a partial oceanview, which was fantastic. The breakfast on the beach, including music and hula dancing, was fun. I would definitely stay here again.

The only problem we had (and I should have researched this ahead of time)was the daily cost of parking our rental car - which we didn't need anyway.

The breakfast by the beach was good normal pastries fresh fruit and fruit juice. The room was nice and quiet bit we were on the 6 floor. There was a bar and restaurant under the hotel which was really convenient after along flight. The food was great tried the Hawaiian sampler it was awesome kids under 12 are free with entree purchase. The security feature of the elevator was the best your room key is needed to go past the lobby. The valet were very helpful gave us maps to the north shore. He recommended ehukai beach park on the north shore parkingand bathrooms with life guard towers great time. The beach front of the hotel is very kid friendly.directly in front of the hotel is a wall that breaks the waves about 30 yards out. That means no undertow or rip currents If there was one thing to say to the staff it would be mahalo it was an awesome trip!!!!!!!
“Favorite Waikiki Hotel”
I was impressed with the all around quality of this hotel. From check-in to check-out everything was above and beyond not only for the price of the hotel but many other factors including the location, the service, and the already included breakfast. When we make another trip to Oahu this will be our place to stay once again.
“Great location & Great Value”
I recommend this hotel to all my friends planning to visit Hawaii. It's recently renovated rooms are small but very cute & the breakfast on the beach is such a great start to the day! I also think that it's location is ideal. It's a small walk to the "main" shops but the beach up this end of Waikiki isn't as busy and it also makes Diamond Head closer if you want to do a hike up there.

This was my mine and my husbands first visit to Oahu. This hotel was great! Loved the location, right across from the beach and surrounded by great food locations. It was a wonderful expeirence overall!!

I enjoyed my stay at the Aston Waikiki Beach. It is in a good location, right on the "main strip" for walking, shopping, eating, running, etc. Breakfast on the beach was wonderful. The nightly entertainment at Tiki Bar was great too! We went a couple of nights to hear the music. I was disappointed that the Wi-fi service at the hotel was not complementary.
“Go back in a heartbeat!”
The hotel was just as described. Extrememly close to the beach and within walking distance of many great shopping outlets and restaurants. The staff was very helpful in getting transportation for us and providing useful information to make our stay more enjoyable. Had a great stay and would reccommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Honolulu.
