Very nice hotel close to everything.Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: Easy walking distance to nice restaurants, shopping and the beaches. Loved the colour scheme in the rooms and lobby. Cool greens and bright whites.
Cons: The balcony door in our room was difficult to open and close. The metal frame was warped, much in need of replacement.
Location: Waikiki is great for shopping. The beaches are narrow and in places the entry into the ocean is rocky under foot.
We were able to get an early check in. The room was clean and the queen size bed very comfortable. The air conditioner did not work but when reported it was replaced immediately by a new unit. The courtesy coffee and tea in the lobby was very welcome, also the apples. Beach towels always available with a bag to carry them in. The staff were always welcoming and helpful.

Great location.Posted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: I liked the location and the quaint size. I also liked that they supplied beach towels in a handy carry bag.
Location: It was in Lewers street which has shopping and restaurants close by. I would highly recommend sunset drinks at the House Without a Key on the beach.
Unfortunately we only had one night here so I'm only able to review our brief experience. We arrived at 1pm and our room wasn't available but the checkin was noted as 3pm so it wasn't the hotels fault. They happily stored all our luggage for us while we headed out and when we returned they had already taken our bags to our room. The hotel lobby was light and bright and in a lovely location right opposite a canal and a short stroll to a beautiful shopping and restaurant district. I would definitely stay here again. My only disappointment was that our special request for a room with a view wasn't met. The hotel told us they give priority to direct bookings. Otherwise, it was sn enjoyable stay.

Very enjoyable work tripPosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: location & staff really made this place enjoyable.
Cons: AC was a little rustic..but overall the place was very comfortable.
Location: The main drags in Waikiki are with in walking distance. It enabled me to get a sense of the city & the layout.
I was staying here w/short notice for a work trip. The staff was super helpful, storing samples & helping me load my vehicle daily. Room was great, a little small, but "boutique-y" so it worked. Great location---just enough off the beaten path to be quiet & only 3 blocks away from the beach & night life.

very nice location and accommodationsPosted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Appreciated the redecorated, modern look to the hotel; the friendly, helpful front desk staff;the complimentary coffee/tea/water were much appreciated!
Cons: Our room didn't have a fridge, which would have been nice. Otherwise, only the area around the pool, looked/felt like it needed a good rinsing down.
Location: Great location, away from the business of Waikiki beach but only a short walk away. Conveniently located to the ABC store.
This hotel was so much nicer than our first night's experience in Honolulu, spent at a hotel a few blocks away, which was in dire need of major upgrading.

First Impression are importantPosted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: I liked the beach walk and convenience of shopping center.
Cons: I would improve the slum apartments in back, concerned and helpful attendant to solve your concerns.
Location: The location was Waikiki area and the shopping was convenient. I took the shuttle 2 hour tour and went to the beach.
Hotel has pleasant view, but attendant clerk was not helpful or concerned about my problem getting to the Hotel a day late. I missed my flight for first night, and was not given any credit for lost time or extended hours in room, and a hospitality room to fresh up with a 10:45P.M. late flight back home. Balcony was nice, but terrible view on ruin down apartments and dirty trash. I could never go outside because of the terrible view. I will not check in this hotel again.

Cons: can't think of anything
