Good hotel, near Waikiki
Posted Jan 13, 2013
Pros: Great price, comfortable room.
Cons: Carpets and external areas are slightly dated. There is only one (slow) elevator.
We were looking for a standard no-frills hotel near Waikiki and that's what we got. The room was comfortable, and spacious for two people. The bathroom and shower was a little small, but clean and in good order. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool space and lobby is not very big or amenable, but we were there to swim at the beach and eat at restaurants. We were able to easily walk to Waikiki, the convention center, or the shopping center. If you are looking for a resort-style hotel, this is not it. But if you are looking for a small well maintained room to sleep in while you tour Honolulu, this is it.

real good choice for any traveler

Pros: central location to downtown and waikiki beach
Cons: noise from motorcycles
Location: it's good
Upon checking in, i received a lei made of sea shells, and glass of pineapple juice. stayed here for a week. half of the time i had to go to convention center, which is only minutes of easy walk away along side of the river bank, under the shade of trees. easy walk to the ala moana mall, which is convenient for shopping and food. the ala moana beach is also close by, a smaller beach for the locals, not as toursy or as busy as waikiki. Waikiki beach is also just a short walk away. The only complaint I have is the noise level from the street with motorcycles rumbling by... the city government really has to do something about that.

Pros: Good distance to the beach
Cons: Good distance to the beach. But it's not good that you cannot use wifi in the rooms
Location: Two blocks to wikiki beach
It has a good distance to the beach. It close to the bus stops. You can either take bus or walk to Ala Mona Shopping Center.

OK stay
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Close to ocean
Cons: Noisey road
The windows had not screens and the air conditioning did not work. Had to sleep with windows open. Lots of road noise and car alarms most of the night. Room was comfortable other than that.

Average place to stay (no WiFi in rooms)
Posted Jan 1, 2013
No WiFi in the rooms. No complimentary breakfast served. Most of activity providers doesn't have pick up from this hotel, walk to nearby big hotel for pick up. Seems costly for the overall service they provide.
