Good hotel, I'd stay again.Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable room. Room rates are reasonable for that hotel.
Cons: Please upgrade the elevator. There's only one and the housekeeping uses it too so it takes a while to leave the hotel or get to the room.
Location: I liked that it's on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki so don't need to drive down Kalakaua ave. to get to the hotel. Starbucks is nearby too.
Good hotel for the price, good location that's close to the beach and free parking.

Posted Jun 27, 2015

I really wanted to like this hotel but...Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: - Price - Location, location, location
Cons: - Housekeeping - Noise Level - Cleanliness - Staff Friendliness
Location: - Less than a 5 minute walk to Waikiki Beach - Across the street from the Honolulu Zoo - Close to plenty of options for public transportation
First off, I have to say that I was impressed by the price of this hotel. My husband and I recently went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and we wanted something that was cheap and right by the beach because we were staying for an extended amount of time. We absolutely loved the price and location of this hotel. However, with that being said, the amount of problems that we ran into were never-ending. First, we did not have housekeeping come every day because of privacy so we only had them come in a few times over our stay. However, when they did come, the bed sheets were not changed (example: stains still left on sheets), towels were not replaced, sand was all over bathroom floor, etc. Another major problem that we ran into was the noise level. Quite a few nights we had to call hotel security to come ask the neighbors to come keep the noise level down during quiet hours. Because of this, we were never actually able to really get a restful nights sleep while we stayed at the Ewa Hotel. I do not know if these noise problems were because of the adjoining door that we had to the room next door but the walls were so thin that we could literally hear everything (shower curtain closing, people snoring, etc.) Third, the staff did not seem to be that accommodating with our problems. We were offered to switch rooms once but other couples were given room upgrades when they were on their honeymoon or other special occasion. We stayed here for 2 weeks and we were just really disappointed.

OK Hotel in downtown WaikikiPosted Jun 23, 2015
Cons: Upgrade to be more modern.
The location is within walking distance of Waikiki beach. It's on a one way alley road. Plan to walk a block to park off site. The hotel has just under 20 percent parking spaces for the number of rooms. The hotel is very dated but in decent condition.

Close to beach and tourist area ...Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Proximity to beach
Cons: Needs to be updated. Reminded me of dormitory
Location: Area largely for tourist. Easy to get to highways and drive to local spots
Nothing special. I thought it would be more modern due to photos. Charge for parking is reasonable 20.00 $ per day and right at hotel although limited spaces. There is charge added on for wifi and etc.. Of 10 something per day. May check for those amnesties elsewhere next time

close to the beach but it is a old hotel.Posted Jun 12, 2015
It is okay to stay there for a short vacation, and it is very conviniense, close to the beach and a lot of other places, but the room is kind of old, and the wifi is not good at all.

Posted Jun 11, 2015

Terrible hotel. Wifi sucks. Parking charges $20.Posted Jun 11, 2015
Location: Near by royal Hawaiian i think
Wifi sucks. Parking charges $20. The beds look smaller than single bad, and not comfortable. Bathroom is dirty. Actually, after everything,it's much expensive than good hotel. It requests 50 as deposit even we prepaid it .
