Good hotel close to the beach

Posted Apr 13, 2015
It was alright just some things in the hotel I didn't like. When we arrived had to ask for a clean shower curtain, someone had hair in the shower, sink was broken in the room with the studio kitchen in it, there were gaps under the doors and the elevator sucked didnt even work half the time and broke down for the day and had to walk up 8 floors.

Comodità e Praticità al giusto prezzo.

Posted Apr 7, 2015

a good, clean, budget hotel

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: Location at beach end of Waikiki. The staff was friendly.
Cons: Billing could have been more detailed. I believe I was charged twice for the supplemental fee. I knew of this fee when I booked and was charged more
Location: At the good end of Waikiki, near Zoo and Sans Souci Beach.
Spent three nights here and was happy with experience. I do believe I was charged more than Expedia said I would be.

Hotel stay

Posted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: Walking distance to Waikiki beach, shops, restaurants.
Cons: Thicker wall to separate the rooms so the conversation, cry, moaning and groaning of hotel guests next door could not be heard on the adjacent rooms.
Location: Swimming, surfing, walking, running, sitting, eating
Good enough for my need. Front desk staff were professional and helpful.

Nice location, friendly staff

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Kind and helpful staff. Helped me print my boarding pass.
Cons: Have single guests or couples stay on floors without kids if possible...They need more parking spots...
Location: Close by beach and stores.
I was exhausted after my trip from New Zealand and really needed some sleep. I arrived at 3pm and was put on the 8th floor. My neighbors were extremely noisy at that time and had a 1 year old baby in their room. I asked if I could please get another room but the receptionist said they were fully booked. I then requested to be called as soon as there might be a cancelation. Thank goodness I received a call at 4.30pm and I was able to move to room 304. Not a great view but 2 nice twin beds, clean and a kitchenette. To bad I was woken up again at 11.30pm and another time at 1.30am the same night by my neighbors across the way who had visitors and brought a sick and coughing child into the hallway right in front of my door... I liked the fact that there is a late check out at 12noon but I decided to leave early anyways because the housekeepers were making to much noise in the hallway. My luck, but overall a nice hotel I would like to stay at again in the near future!

Close to Beach but Front Desk not so friendly

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: The location
Cons: The front desk could smile and act like they enjoy working in the hospitality industry.
Location: Restaurants - Zoo - Beach - Bars - Diamond Head hike
The Hotel is in a great location just 2 blocks from the beach and close to good places to eat and zoo/park. That's a major plus to staying at the hotel. The front desk was not so nice. It always felt like you were bothering them when you asked a question. But the cleaning staff always were smiling and a pleasure to deal with. PLUS the wifi does NOT work at all. I have stayed at 4 star hotels to 2 star hotels in Waikiki I must say that this was a little disappointing as the 1st thing when you walk into a hotel after flying many hours is a front desk to welcome you. This was not the case at the Ewa.
