Easy, welcoming check in with the guy in the reception. Got upgraded to a bigger room for free. Room was big, clean and had simple cooking utensils. Aircon, big balcony with street view. Nice choice of lighting in the room, several lamps to set the mood you want and beds were comfy. WiFi and cable TV. Poor WiFi in the room, it was best if you sat next to the door or in the hallway, or you could go down to the lounge if you needed comfort. Staff were very relaxed and friendly and after the check in they did not ask a question. At our last day, the woman working in the reception was quite unfriendly, and I got little help with simple questions/ requests I had about the hotel and my stay there. The guy who worked there was however friendly as always and helped me out. Apart from that one unfriendly person (that could easily have been considered friendly if she smiled, looked at you and actually tried to help you when you asked a question/ had a problem), our stay was great. Fantastic location just a minute from Waikiki beach, a few minutes from the bars and everything else you expect from a hotel in this price range. GO THERE!

Rented room here for vacation and was very happy with the hotel and staff. Ace preticularly was a great staff member, very friendly and personable, always greeting me by name. When I decided to stay an extra couple days at the last minute, he was happy to find me another room to stay in, and only charged me the internet rate instead of the walk-in rate. The cleaning staff were also very polite and friendly, I was able to leave my laptop and other valuables in my room without fear of them going missing. The best reason for staying here is the location: its a block from the beach, starbucks, groceries, zoo, and was walking distance from great dining, banks, and shopping. Even local residents who dropped me off at the hotel after a night of fun said "wow, great location!". Will definately stay again in January for my sister's wedding.

As always, we enjoyed staying at Ewa Hotel, nothing fancy but room was clean and good enough as to what we needed. Close to beach and stores, shopping and walking. Hotel personnel was friendly as always. The only downside, elevator a little slow. But not really an issue when one is suppose to be on vacation.

“Cozy room”

Staying at this hotel was like having your own bedroom with a bathroom type. But was very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. All of the hotel personnel where very polite. This hotel was very close to the beach and main part of Waikiki. I would stay there again.

The hotel is few steps from the bech, the zoo and the waikiki "downtown". It is in a quiet street, close to bus. The hotel is clean, the personel is very pleasant., the free breakfast is nice, you can go eat it in the terrace. the only thing is that if people next door are not quiet you'll hear everything...
