“Best Waikiki Hotel”

After reading a few reviews complaining about service and crowds I was concerned. From the moment we arrived until we left all staff was extremely nice, helpful and seemed as they loved what they did. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms large and clean. We had a two bedroom, partial ocean view which was great. We could see all the towers around us, all the pools, the ocean and boat launch. We could see the fire works and their nightly hula/fire show from our room. Everything is a bit of a walk but, good exercise and views. The pools are a bit cold. The only down fall would be its almost impossible to use the elevators about 10-11am because of all the check outs. There would be lines downstairs and take about 20 mins to go downstairs. We would definetly stay here again.

“Great Family Hotel on Waikiki”

Hotel and room were very nice and family friendly. Plenty to do for every age. Appreciated the early arrival/departure lounge for those who arrive ealry and/or had a late flight out. Get your bathing suit out before you have your baggage stored by the bell capain and enjoy the pool and beach while you wait for checkin time. You can comfortably squeeze another day in by arriving early and departing late and taking advantage of this. I think they even have showers available.

“Awesome hote”

Wonderful hotel. Only complaint is the pricey onsite restaurants. Also be prepared to spend a lot of time walking or commuting onsite. However it is stil worth it.

“Great family vacation spot”

Spectacular setting. Great family vacation hotel. Beautiful, clean property. Only negative was responsiveness to phone. Often slow response from operators and no answer from concierge when called. Once connected, service was good and in person service always great. Just not enough staff answering the phones.

“Pricey but worth every penny!”

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The interior decor was modern and up to date. The kitchen amenities areall complete. They have free kitchen condiments even unlike other timeshare. The have a welcome lounge for those who cannot check in yet. The pools are ok, small but nice. The employees here are friendly except for one in the front desk named Sal who would not accept my Hilton Honors membership. Overall, it was a great stay and would like to go back here again if the price is right!

“7 Nights Next Time!”

My husband and two children ( 9 and 10 year olds) had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was beautiful, namely the bathroom and the kitchen was in superior, clean condition. My personal double stacked washer and dryer neatly stashed behind a wooded verticle blind door came tremendoulsy in handy. On day two of our stay in Hawaii we took the bus to Walmart which was a 7 minute ride and purchased about 70.00 dollars worth of food and snacks. We saved ourselves alot of money by filling up the frig. We took the city bus to North Shore beach & the fle market, we even got lost on the bus and that turned into a wonderful sight seeing adventure from my families' perspective. We were picked up from our hotel for the Paradise Cove Luau - so many activities for the family until you cannot do them all, the food was OK but the luau entertainment at sundown and in the evening was magical and superior. You Won't regret choosing Paradise Cove Luau. We were also picked up at our hotel for a day at Hunanuua Bay where we snorkled - waves were high that day. We sailed on a lovely sunset Catamaran sail boat and we also took a ride on the screemin speedboat which was wild and and fun. My family enjoyed every single day of our 5 night stay in Hawaii. Nothing went wrong the flight was long coming from and to Chicago- but I would do it again for a 7 night stay next time in Hawaii.

“Fabulous--beyond our expectations, great location, new hotel!”

Our family of five just came back for 8 nights at the hotel. Great location on the lagoon-beach front. Newest tower in Hilton's vacation village. We had the 1 bedroom, which slept 5 comfortably, had a great new kitchen, washer/dryer and seperate bedroom and roomy bath. Very high end, great service, if we needed anything we just called and the staff was there with it in 10 minutes. Fun three tiered pool for adults and kids with 3-4 water slides. This end of Waikiki was nice and quiet with lots of room on the beach to yourself.

“Memorable Vacation”

Very relaxing and luxurious vacation spent with family (no children). The Waikikian is a condo-type building within the Hilton Village (which includes leased spaces for retail shops & restaurants) as well as the typical amenitites of a resort (i.e. gym, day spa, salon, multiple pools, etc). Our 1BR unit had a full kitchen with range/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, full fridge/freezer and rice pot. Settings were for 4 persons. There is a small front loader washer/dryer also. I paid extra for the "partial ocean view" and I'm not sure that it was worth the extra cost. The ocean could only be seen from the lanai (balcony) and it was obscured by adjacent buildings. The view really was predominantly of the city and unfortunately, the traffic below detracted from any relaxing time gazing out at the ocean. It's still nice, but definitely consider using the added cost elsewhere. There was housekeeping daily and the units were kept immaculate. The bed wasn't very comfortable (or maybe just a bit firm for my taste). I treated my family to either a massage or facial at the Mandara Spa...which is relatively expensive, but it was such a nice way to end our vacation. You should be aware that they automatically tack on 20% gratuity to the bill with additional gratuity at your discretion, but they do accept Spa Finder certificates.

“Nice hotel but Maui is better”

Very nice hotel with lots of fun things to do. The hotel staff caters more towards the Japanese guest above others. That was the only thing we disliked. There are lots of shops and resturants but they are very expensive.

“Will definitley go back.”

Very nice hotel in a great location. We traveled with 3 children ages 7-13. The 2 bedroom 2 bath condo was perfect. We did not have an "ocean view" room but stilll had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. The pool with water slides was a big hit with our kids. Parking was easy and fairly convenient. Service was excellent. Our stay really couldn't have been better. We'll definitely go back.
