“Good location, well managed.”
Between two excellent beaches, Ala Mona park and Waikiki (recommend Ala Mona park over Waikiki). Hotel location avoids the hype and congestion of Waikiki, but gives you easy access to the beach and shops.
“Great Hotel”
The service is great, the rooms are clean. Near Ala Moana Center and lots of restaurants.
“hawaii prince hawaii's paradise”
extremely satisfied with all aspects of this hotel would not hesitate to stay again staff was very friendly and helpful the room was spacious and quite comfortable very clean the view was spectacular! had a wonderful stay!
“More than satisfied!”
When I initially booked this hotel I really didn't know what to expect. The moment we walked into the hotel lobby there was sigh of relief and comfort to what we've come to. We we're greeted with hot towels with a very nice aroma. The lobby was very beautiful and clean. The elevator was also very nice, because it is all glass and we were able to overlook a good portion of Wakiki and the mountains all the way up to the 31st floor where our room was located. The room was clean and the bathroom made it all the better. The shower is separate from the tub and bathroom is all tiled. The view from the room out to the ocean and Diamond Head Mountain was nice. Hospitality was great. The two resturants in the hotel is also good. Everyone that worked there were very friendly and helpful. Overall this was a good place to be. Hawaii Prince really made our stay worth it.
“Excellent”
All staff is good, rooms is clean, separated bath and shower is great, no complaint.
“Outstanding customer service & luxurious accomodations”
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a few days after several in a condo in Maui. Wow, what a difference in service moving from a timeshare condo/hotel to a full service 4-star hotel! The bellman Jonathan who assisted us with our bags literally spent 10-15 minutes explaining the safety and convenience features of our room after letting us inspect it to determine if it was satisfactory. He remembered our names the next two mornings as we were leaving and had questions about getting to different places. The desk staff was also highly accomodating giving us a 3 hour late checkout so we could go to Hanauma Bay to go snorkeling our last morning, and still come back and shower. My only complaint was that the bed was a little stiff, and that they don't use "fitted" bottom sheets, they use a standard sheet that they just tuck in on the sides, and it is too short to tuck in at the bottom of the bed. I am 6'1" and my feet were on several inches of bare matress each night after getting settled into the bed. The bathroom in our standard room was super nice. It has a separate stall for the toilet with its own door. Separate shower with glass door. The whole bathroom was tiled. There was also a small illuminated vanity mirror (in addition to the large wall mounted mirror) that is magnified to get a nice shave (or apply makeup for the women). The hotel gives complimentary bottles of dasani water each day, as well as Kona coffee. I would stay at this hotel again.
“Perfect location”
We love everything about our stay at Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki. The lobby was beautiful, staff were friendly, the room was great, and more than anything else, the location was perfect. The hotel was not in the middle of Waikiki, which we found too busy and commercial. Yet, it was in a walking distance to both Waikiki and Alamo Ana Shopping mall, so it was very convenient. Also, we enjoyed a morning walk around the harbor. The swimming pool was nice, but it was a bit too windy since it was on the fifth floor. Also, I wonder if the swimming pool was open to employees' families as well? We saw a lot of kids, who seemed like natives, without a proper supervision in the pool a few times, and it was a kind of turn-off. But besides that, we enjoyed the hotel very much. Oh, don't forget to bring your toiletries. Just like trends of any other hotels these days, they skip some items like toothbrushes & toothpaste. They had basics though (shampoo, conditioner, and soap).
“Love This Hotel!”
This was our second time staying at this hotel, and it won't be our last.
“Would stay at hotel again”
The hotel was very nice, staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was in need of some minor updating, carpet, wallpaper and paint, outside of that we were comfortable.
“Hawaiian Prinve - Very Nice”
Hotel was excellent. All was as expected. Wonderfull view. Pool area was very nice with both food and beverage available. I would go back.
