Nice hotel on Waikiki!
Posted Jan 5, 2013
Though the room was standard hotel style (the "kitchenette" was literally a very small fridge and microwave, no sink or dishwasher), that was enough for two...so watch which room and tower you are choosing within the Hawaiian Village if you are travelling with a family. At first we were disappointed because the Kalia Tower was the farthest from the beach, however, the walk was so short, it didn't bother us at all. The Tapa Tower had a bus depot for it seemed, most tour buses, including ours with Robert's Hawaii. Nice shops, and a variety of family restaurants.

Attractive outdoor areas
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: The gardens and the views ! Just loved the friday fireworks too
Cons: The sofa bed..
Location: Fabulous locality. Moments to Ala Moana shopping or to the beach. A short boardwalk to Waikiki strip
This hotel is very comfortable. Its jewel would be its outside areas : amazing swimming pools, gardens, shopping & dining options. It is older but in fairness the room rates reflect this. Our room suite was spotlessly clean and spacious. The Check out time is quite early for the USA at 10am. This is a great place if you wish to be semi-independent (self catering) and have the comfort and security of being on a resort with 'everything'

The time share was very well located and clean. Only complaint was noise...could hear footsteps above and some noise from fellow guests next door. The views were great but would have liked a bit more space in the studio. Overall, a very nice stay.

Central to everything
Posted Jan 15, 2012
Pros: spacious suite. ..village atmosphere....closeness to all facilities.
Cons: the lifts were occasionally very slow ...at times the room seemed like it hadn't been dusted.
Location: Fantastic...central to main attractions.
Had a lovely 2 br suite in the Lagoon tower. It was spacious and worked well for our family of five. The location of the hotel was perfect...15 min walk to Waikiki central and even less to Ala Moana shopping centre. The village does get busy but I was happy that our tower was relatively hustle free. Look forward to staying here again.

hilton grand vacations Hawaii

Pros: The room space and full kitchen.
Cons: It was a bit of a hike to get to where the action was.
Hotel was amazing. Comfort was fantastic and very happy with the overall experience at the hilton. Swimming pools great for the kids, and we all loved the lagoon and beach area to hang out at. Loved the huge space in our room, and it had its own full function kitchen as we were a party of 2 adults and 3 kids. Would love to go back and stay again1

Great rooms, maid service could be better
Posted Jan 10, 2012
Pros: The rooms were fantastic with beautiful furniture and tons of storage
Cons: Maid service was not the best
Room was excellent but maid service was very questionable. The first and second day were fine but after that I felt that she was putting dirty dishes back dirty and my dirty towels back on the rack from the floor. This hotel is for mostly Hilton owners and they only get one complimentary maid service during their stay so it may be the maid was upset that she had to come every day for us.

Clean and comfortable!
Posted Jan 21, 2012
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Only one mirror - need one out in the room.
Location: Excellent location - away from hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
Staff were friendly; the beaches were not crowded like at Waikiki; wish there was a mirror out in the room, the only one was in the restroom and it gets hot in there when drying your hair; and can't share the mirror while putting on make up and hubby trying to do his hygiene so another mirror would help; comfortable bed; roomy studio; great staff.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village has everything right on the property. Construction was going on during our stay, so it was not as beautiful as usual.

Awesome trip to Hilton Hawaiin Village June 2012
Posted Jan 21, 2012
Pros: Lagoon, secluded pools, paddle board rentals, well-kept and decorated room, free washer/dryer down the hall, beautiful grounds, concierge, kitchenette
Cons: Housekeeping didn't come until we called. At main lobby check-in stood in line then were told we had to go to a different location to check-in. :(
Location: Perfect location! Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Right on ocean and lagoon.
I would have given it all fives, but we had to call each day to get our room cleaned, instead of housekeeping just coming. Everything else was ABSOLUTELY perfect. I plan to go back. Beautiful, relaxing, fun, plenty to do or do nothing if you prefer. :) HAWAII REALLY IS PARADISE!!!! Does not even compare to the Caribbean!!! The weather is magnificent!
