The property location was ideal in terms of access to the beach , dining, and transportation. It is in walking distance to the zoo and aquarium if you are traveling with kids. The amenities that were provided were superior to many of the more fancy hotels. My friends stayed at a more upscale hotel and all they provided were towels. My only complain is that the side of the hotel I stayed was very noisy at nights ( construction type of noise) While I thought the cleanliness of the room was adequate, the shower walls and floors need to be upgraded. The tub was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Their front door is very awkward when anything in your hands. It’s not automated like most other good hotels, but otherwise the place is very nice and very clean and excellently located

Staff was very friendly, property very clean and safe.house keeping also very friendly and helpful. The only problem is that there is NO parking if you rent a Car.

Rooms, particularly rooms with balconies are very misleading. No rooms have ocean facing balconies, our balcony had a sliver of an ocean view, faced another complex, and you could barely get one chair to see the water. It was our last night in Hawaii, and I booked it based on the pictures, which showed bigger balconies, which ended up being just a window which didn’t allow seating to enjoy any view. The trim around our ac unit was missing and while they did have black out curtains, the bathroom door was frosted and let tons of light in which defeated the purpose. Was also a VIP guest which stated bottle of wine but never received anything. Was a disappointment for our last night of our honeymoon.

Our room was on the 2nd floor and when we checked in to the room there was super loud construction noise (think non-stop drilling that literally is making the ground vibrate). We were promised that it was a one-off occurrence and that it would end at 330pm and not happen again. Cue 8am the following morning, and the construction cacophony restarts. On speaking to the front desk I was told “oh yea they are here all month.” Super irresponsible to give people a room right next to an active construction site and then mislead people to thinking this was an unplanned and one-off occasion. Will not stay here again and super disappointed.

Would give a better review but I had left pants in closet after checking out and room was rented so housekeeping couldn’t check. Just shows that they do not do a very good inspection once guest departs. Left several messages for hotel mgmt never received a call back. The hotel is great, but guest services 2 out of 5.

Hotel Renew has a great location, being less than a block from Waikiki Beach. If you have an ocean view room, than you’ll overlook the pool at the Twin Fin, and the Tiki Bar, both of which are accessible to visitors. The interior decor is great, offering an old school feel to your visit.

I liked the fact that it was close to the beach, and ABC stores. The bed was wonderful, and the view was unbelievable. Great service!

Good location but the room was nothing special. Towels were low quality / rough to use. The restorr fee is crazy given no amenities. I would not stay again

This isn’t a fancy “luxury” hotel. But it’s clean, comfortable, and easy walking distance to the beach. It has everything I need … except a pool.

it smells really good inside the property. They have ice cold lemon water upon entry all day and night. they are polite nice and helpful. the property is so close to the beach.

Great location, a half block off the beach. Lots of restaurant options. Close to Kapiolani Park, Kuhio Beach and Honolulu Zoo. Staff very friendly and helpful. Efficient use of space. Not fancy, but we don’t spend a lot of time in our room when traveling.

the staff is really kind. this is a great place if you dont have a car otherwise its $50 a day and anytime you need your car you obviously have to tip which becomes quite inconvenient. otherwise its nice and close to the beach and anything you need!

Was really nice. We especially loved the guy at the front desk for the night shift he was amazing and very accommodating. Any requests we made were completed quickly and didn’t take forever to complete. Loved that they had all the beach amenities. But I do see what people meant about the resort fees as I thought it was included when we already paid. One thing with the ocean view is you can hear literally everything from what’s going on in the street. The shower water is hot at all it’s very good and hard to enjoy a shower. Aswell as the bathroom wall is glass so a little awkward sharing with your family. Over all it was great biggest thing was noise and water for us.
