Property and rooms are older and dated but room was clean and housekeeping did a great job with daily service. Staff were nice and accommodating with exception to some ladies at the front desk.

The reviews I’d read were spot on about this property. I chose it because it was truly a one minute walk to the beach. I selected an ocean view room and it didn’t disappoint. I had a lovely balcony that I sat on each morning to enjoy the view. The bathroom within the room was very small. More space was taken due to the Toto bidet attachment. Although it was small it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The hotel breakfast and dinner buffets were tasty! For breakfast there was a waffle bar one day and a pancake bar the next. For dinner, there was a heavy Korean fusion theme. The shorty ribs were absolutely amazing! I also dined at the Shor restaurant for lunch and I enjoyed how the food was served in colorful lidded bowls. It felt like room service but inside a restaurant. Check in was easy for me. I was able to check in early since my room was ready. I did lock myself out once on my stay and security was very accommodating. I would recommend not packing heavy since there are plenty of shops nearby to purchase clothes or shoes to get you through your trip. I would recommend toiletries since the ABC shops can be a bit pricey for some things. I will definitely be visiting again and certainly staying at the Hyatt Regency.

The location is perfect and the hotel offers beach chairs which was nice. However, the hotel is dated and we found stains on the sheets and curtains in the room. Nothing too alarming and we would likely stay here again.

Property is best for staying local and walking around. The 10 floor parking structure is a nightmare for any vehicle larger than a midsize sedan. Found an enormous cockroach in the bathroom crawling up the wall while utilizing the toilet. The view is quite nice out of the property though so that’s a plus.

We loved the property. The food was delicious but pricey. The views were amazing but you had to cross the street to get to the beach. It was convenient to everything, so it was a busy area.

Very beautiful interior with plenty of shops and a coffee shop within the hotel area. The room was a good size. There are 40 floors and 4 elevators so you dont have to wait long. It is located right next to the beach and access is simple.

Shopping and surrounding areas were great.The inside rooms could use a little care. The vanity showed signs of wear & tear. The paint was chipped off of the drawers by the tv stand. Inside the restroom the molding on the bottom was worn. It is in a great location and the staff were efficient and friendly.

While I do think they should have informed guests they were hosting prom at the ballroom so parking would be full, I appreciate the staff’s willingness to compensate for the inconvenience. We didn’t even have to mention it. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! We will definitely be back for another staycation.

Nice hotel! Right where you want to be if you want to shop, dine, or visit Waikiki beach. Hotel did charge us for beach towels that we used. Did not know about this when we checked in. Service great! Daily housekeeping available for sand and kids. I would suggest renovating their elevator situation. We would wait 15-20 min for one. Besides that great stay!! Aloha!! 🌈

I have been to Waikiki three times now and The Hyatt Regency was by FAR my favorite stay. It is literally across the street from the beach, the amenities were awesome. I can't say enough about this hotel! It's the little things for me, being in a hot sundrenched area, the fact that they provide refillavle water bottles with ice and water machines on every floor was beyond convenient. I'm a water snob so I appreciated the quality filtered water over tap, it was so convenient and honestly tasted better than the bottled water I bought at the store. They let you get free towels from their machine and return them everyday so you don't have to worry about reusing the same soggy beach towel everyday. I'll be staying here for all our future trips!!!

We had an ocean front room, and it was definitely worth the extra money! Was convenient to shops and dining. Was definitely packed in and all around the hotel with a lot of people, which is to be expected since this hotel has so many rooms with two towers. The area is a very touristy area, so if you are ok with a ton of people, this hotel is perfect! The beach right in front of the hotel was extremely packed all the time. Hard to swim and snorkel. But the hotel over all itself was great! Staff was fantastic! Room was clean, but average. We got a roll away bed for $35/ night, so that was nice. We would stay here again if we wanted that busy city feel!

The jacuzzi was old and the jets in the jacuzzi were weak. Kids were allowed in the pool and jacuzzi all hours of the night which made it hard to relax. Other than that the place was nice.

The parking is very inconvenient. I’m handicapped and I to park across the street and pray that you find a decent parking space, while the first five floors are for valet parking only. You enter the property find ground level, walk to the other end to the elevator to go to the 2nd floor to check in, then you have to walk to the other side to get the elevator to get to your room. The view and room was beautiful - but parking and the elevators suck.

Little things like keeping toilet paper, tissues, soap, other essentials always in good supply makes such a difference. Excellent daily housekeeping. Liked the filtered water station on the third floor. The activities eg free ukulele lessons were an added bonus. Pricey but delicious dinner buffets!

Great location right across the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Unlimited clean towels service. You can also borrow beach chairs and toys from the hotel.
