Iconic HotelPosted Nov 15, 2014
Pros: It was everything as described, no disappointments.
Cons: A bigger pool and area.
Location: Ideally situated between Ala Moana and Waikiki.
Enjoyed our stay. Nothing was unsatisfactory. Rooms were spacious, clean, modern and well equipped. Had all of the usual facilities, location was suitable close to Alana Moana and Waikiki. This local landmark hotel was interesting to see the memorabilia and read about its history.

Very nice hotel next to the marinaPosted Nov 11, 2014
I went to Honolulu on business but was able to stay at this nice hotel. The staff exceeded my expectations. The room was large and had a great view.

For the price paid, just OK, not the greatest.Posted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: Close to amenities. The staff are helpful especially the housekeeping lady.
Cons: The kitchen is probably not used often by clients but seeing to it that this is always clean should be included in the checklist.
Location: This is walking distance to a lot of amenities including night buzz and the Waikiki beach. There's a bus stop right in front that can take you places.
We were attending a convention at the Hawaii Convention Center. It was a 15 minute walk which is just fine. It has full kitchen however the cabinets stinks and there were stains inside the freezer of the refrigerator. The vanity cabinets were not also "spic-and-span".

Pros: View, cleanliness, friendly hotel staff.
Location: Beach, close to Ala Moana shopping center, next to Hawaiian Hilton Hotel, and Hale Koa Hotel ont the other side of Hawaiian Village.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ilikai Hotel.

convenience from downtownPosted Aug 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Ilikai was much older than expected, hotel was clean and services were very good, inside hotel room it appeared that room was apparently refaced as it looked that way in kitchen-ette, there were 2 lamp switches that were off centered with its switches and could be easily repaired by changing the switch, bathroom needed a fan for ventilation due to heat and humidity, mattress was decent but slightly softer than usual...overall, the convenience and history of the hotel location from the downtown area was the major factor for stay and very close to ala moana mall and and the main roadways...

Nice hotelPosted May 10, 2014
Nice hotel if you want to stay in the heart of Waikiki. Clean, but beds weren't that great and the look of the room was dated. Great service and great location

Nice!Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: I loved that this hotel had a self contained kitchen. When you are away from home for awhile, a nice home cooked meal is missed!
Cons: It would be nice if the room was serviced everyday. They seem to only service the room every other day. you run out of tissues, toilet paper & towels
Location: The location is fabulous! right in the heart of Waikiki. across the street is a great sports bar that sells heaps of delicious gluten free options.
Great location and nice place to stay. Would recommend this place. Would return. The lobby is lovely, the staff are nice and there is a nice, reasonably priced sports bar in the hotel.

Great Home Base for all of OahuPosted Mar 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Third time staying at this hotel in three years - we love it. On the edge of Waikiki, so an easy walk to all the shopping and restaurants. Short walk to the beach. Pleasant and easy going staff, especially the valets.
