Hotel near golf course

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Hotel Staff very nice. Hotel itself needs updating. Our room could of been cleaner. The bedspreads had stains on them. We found a worm in one of the beds with some brown stuff. The curtains need replacing they are old and falling apart.

Posted Jun 15, 2015

Great place to stay central to everything

Posted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, central; location, clean room.
Cons: Room was a bit dated, but we would rather have reasonable price than flash room. Good to have a kitchen. Bit noisy from street noise.
Location: handy to market, shops, bus, trolley busus, beach, zoo.
We had a great week at the Ilima. The staff are very friendly and most helpful. They answered all out questions willingly. We had fun making the necklaces from the kukui nuts to make lovely leis. These lessons are provided free by the hotel. The hotel even stored our luggage for us when we returned to Hawaii and had a day to full in before our flight back home. Very close to markets and the Ross shop, not too far from the zoo - we walked there and handy to the beach, restaurants and buses. The local bus is only $2.50 per trip. we took the bus to Sealife Park and the outer beaches. Fantastic holiday

Nice hotel close to Waikiki beach.

Nice hotel. Big room. Good air conditioning and kitchen. But need more parking spaces. You need to be before 8:00 pm in the hotel to find a parking spot.

Posted May 26, 2015

Hotel in guter Lage

Posted May 25, 2015

A Good Sized Old Hotel

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Beds, large room, free Wi Fi, friendly staff and closeness to bus stops and Waikiki.
Cons: The. Whole hotel needs refurbishment and painting. Two lifts working.
Location: Excellent location. Very close to bus stops and Waikiki.
The Ilima was a friendly spacious hotel. The rooms were huge but the whole motel was tired and needed painting and refurbishing. The beds were the best I have slept in anywhere in the world, my wife and I both had the best, relaxing sleeps in a long time in our six night stay. The pool was small but adequate. Be sure to ask for a high floor overlooking the mountains as on all other sides you only see city skyline. An easy walk to downtown Waikiki.

Clean and affordable hotel

Posted May 24, 2015
We stayed on the 16th floor and enjoyed it, the room was clean and spacious. great amenities such as a kitchen, a laundromat area, free parking(although the space is very narrow, would recommend getting a compact car for easier parking) and free WiFi. close to kailua beach, ala moana shopping center, Waimea valley.
