Great place to stay any time

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: The staff was awesome all of them.
Cons: Maybe a restaurant in the hotel or a pool for kids.
Location: Location was perfect, near everything.
We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights and I would not stay anywhere else, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Free water, parking, shuttle and beach towels, chairs and bikes, It is a great place to stay. great place for a family.

Great value and cute

Important - if you pay for Diamond Head premium view room, insist on 5th floor or higher - 4th floor is in the trees and all you see is parking lot. Front desk and housekeeping - the best. Keep an we out for hot Wes at free wine time! Play on he private beach or move to nearby public if you have little people under 10 with you - waves are weaker. Waikiki is like Disney on the beach, super safe but you should pack half a suitcase of snacks. Nearest meal is over-priced neighbor hotel dining room ($19 poke app) or $5 kiddo hot dog at the beach cafe just he other side of the Aquarium. Hotel Restaurant is permanently closed - no kitchen staff. Complimentary breakfast is hot coffee, water and hot chocolate packets for free next to $9 papaya. Don't be fooled. Towel and chair service is cool. Beds comfortable. Decks are worth it. No gym, no pool but far away from Waikiki weirdness and fake mall people. Enjoy, aloha!

Peaceful Boutique Hotel Away From the Crowds

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: Nice ambiance, quiet and staff are great. Room super comfortable and superb views if you choose an upper storey room facing Diamond Head and the beach
Cons: A restaurant would top it off so that you didn't need to go out in the evening as it is quite a walk into the main strip.
Location: Swimming, snorkelling, walking
We had a delightful room with great views of Diamond Head and the beach from room on the 11th floor. The beds was very comfortable and very clean. Nice surprise to have a bottle of Proseco delivered to our room for our celebration. Met with a smile and offered bottles of cold water and in the lobby there was icy cold water infused with lemon - just what we needed after our flight from Kuaui. Reception very polite and helpful and our requests for a quiet room with lovely views at the time of booking was accommodated. Lots of towels, nice toiletries and in a peaceful and green setting not far from the beachfront and an easy walk into town. Coffee machine in room and free coffee and tea throughout the day in the dining room. Only thing needed was a restaurant as you need to go out for an evening meal. Tip - Choose an upper storey room with a Diamond Head and beach view otherwise you could be looking at a parking lot. Worth the extra.
