Hotel good for short visits.

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Closer to all the things to do in town. Shops, restaurant and sightseeing, beaches.
Cons: Reception staff need to be friendlier.
Location: Easy to walk to the main shops in Waikiki and down to the beach. Lots of good restaurants near by including Vit's on ground floor.
After a long flight to get there, we were a little disappointed with the reception staff who were not very friendly. No friendly welcome, in fact we felt like checking us in was causing them some kind of problem. Our room was pretty basic and you only get one complimentary cup of coffee. It was clean and tidy and we felt safe.

Nope

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: I liked the location, that was about it.
Cons: Everything. The hotel is seriously outdated.
Location: Very close to Waikiki so that's nice.
This hotel is in a great location but I wouldn't stay here again. Wi-Fi was not complimentary; it smelled weird; the ice machine on my floor was out of order; and our tub didn't drain properly and it was pretty gross standing in ankle deep water. Plus, there's a daily charge for garage parking, which apparently is the norm but still sucks when you're already paying that much for a crappy room.

Affordable, clean hotel close to the beach

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Clean, Jacuzzi, walking distance to Waikiki
Cons: The bed wasn't very comfortable but I got used to it.
Location: Short walk to Waikiki beach, yummy food and shopping. Have to pay for parking everywhere...
It was a decent stay for the price. Clean room, polite staff, good location... I would stay again. :)

I booked the wrong date but the expedia salesperson helped me out and got it arranged for the right date with no extra cost.

It took about 10 minutes to Waikiki.

I think the staff of this hotel are not very polite and treated to us coldly. I felt very comfortable with the room because it is too small and narrow. If the next door closed the door or spoke loudly, it will be very noisy. On the other side, the hotel is very stingy because it doesn't have WIFI and we need to surf on the Internet in the lobby. However, the signal there is very very weak. At last, it cost us $18 per day to park, but the parking fee showed on Expedia is $7/day.
