“Just OK.....”
The hotel was average.... The included breakfast was just average... Be aware that the hotel parking charge of $20 per day is "cash only"!
“Will stay again”
Chose this place hoping it had decent parking. You can't get away from paying for parking in Waikiki, but there was plenty of it. Room was fine for my stay, just staying one night for sleeping only. Towels were kind of scratchy, but the location of the hotel is great. Denny's is right outside, too. Not luxurious or spacious, if that is what you are looking for, but I will be back.
“Welcome to Sodom and Gomorrah”
This place was a big mistake. The old addage, you get what you pay for was never more true here. There is no easy check in if you are driving, since the parking garage is actually a separate enterprise that requires you to always go down into the lobby, then to the elevators, then up to your floor. The hallways are dingy, and the place could use implosion. The smells are pretty bad, although I admit, I didn't actually see the roaches until the last day. The Fridge barely worked, and looked it had been through heck, although the bathroom, was clean, and the bed was okay, as was the TV. The pool deck was facing into a parking lot and outside the hotel you will find yourself fending off drug dealers or prostitutes, or just about any type of life. If this is your type of place, then go for it. Otherwise shell out some cash and stay somewhere nicer. It really seemed the block this hotel is on was the worst part of Waikiki.

great place for the price
“Average hotel”
This hotel is of average standard not too fancy but not bad at all; The room was clean and the location is excellent right in the center of Waikiki; (5min walk to the beach). Our room was facing back street and the view was not very good, but it was quiet and we had no problems with the noise of the busy street (if you book your room ask for the room not facing the main street – then it is quite and you can sleep the whole night); The hotel is definitely worth the money. We enjoyed our stay there.
“Comfortable hotel, good location, there isn't much of a view but so close to the beach & market.”
The hotel has everything you "need" in terms of clean comfortable and convenient. It is not fancy by any stretch and there really aren't any views to speak of but for the amount of time we spent in our room (sleeping & showering basically) it was a good bang for the buck. We were with a group and so everyone was in different hotels ( the others were beach front) Our hotel was half the cost and not even 5 minutes from the best part of the beach. It was right next to the international market which was great for shopping and food courts ect. As we did lot of activities (snorkeling, luauo, pearl harbour, jeep rental, hiking) I was happy to save the money to put into the things we did instead. If I was to go on a romantic vacation ( this one was with friends) I would probably choose a ocean front for the view and the sound of the waves etc. So depends on the kind of experience you are after and your buget. All in all it was a good experience! Waikiki is so awesome by the way...beautiful beautiful beautiful. Clean beaches and streets and good drinking water, great restaurants (I recommend Dukes and the cheesecake factory!) Good luck and have fun...

“Recommend”
Staff isn't the friendliest but hotel and location are great for the the price. Parking is $18.00/day but you don't need a car. You can use "reliable shuttle" which will take you from the airport to hotel.
“Great experience and I've stayed in quite a few of Waikiki hotels”
Living in Hawaii and off the island of Oahu oftern reqires frequent travel to Oahu. I used to live in Waikiki, so prefer to stay there when possible. Because I frequent Oahu (once a month) I've stayed in several different hotels, usually who ever has the best price and convienent location. This was my first time at the Miramar and I found t to be clean, quite, and easily accessable. The room was big enough to comfortably accomodate 2 adults, had a large bathroom with nice products in the way of soap/shampoo. The staff were helpful and accomodated all request I made. I will diffenetly stay there again on more upcoming trips.
“Great Hotel for First Time "Ohahu Tourists" !”
Great Location: right next to the famous "International Market" - 2 blocks from the center of Waikiki beach - Honolulu Zoo and Aquarium is a nice 1/2 mile walk from the street in front of the hotel (both are great attractions for the price) - f ood, bars, laundry right across the street - bus pickup from the airport to the hotel and for most tour guides right from the hotel - Excellent tour guide's inside the hotel to make your trip one to remember - our room and room service was also excellent. Like i said in the title, if you're a first time visitor to Hawaii this would be a perfect hotel to stay at! If you've been there before (i have), it's still a great hotel to stay at!
