“Lovely Hotel”

We enjoyed our stay at Luana Waikiki. The only complaint we had was the air-conditioning was quite noisy. While this did not particular bother two of us and the other had ear plugs in we did not find this a problem however some people may. The staff were all pleasant and courteous, nice coffee shop at entrance, lovely Thai restaurant across the road and near bus services.

This hotel was very clean, and close to the beach. The staff always had a smile and could not help us enough, they were excellent. The pool area was awesome. I would highly recommend this hotel for a great vacation.

The Outrigger Launa in Hawaii was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends and I will go back.

“Great Location and Service - Definitely Go Back”

The hotel is probably not the best hotel in Waikiki, but for the price and location I think it would be very hard to find much better. The staff was very pleasant and helpful during the entire stay. The hotel includes a relatively well equipped fitness center. It has dumbbell free weights. A real plus if you're trying to stay in shape while on vacation. It is a close 0.4 mile stroll to Waikiki beach. The pool is facing the evening sun. My room had a roll out bed when I had asked for two queen size beds, but the roll out bed was really comfortable and I was offered another room the next day. I had to use the extended parking garage but it was very close and I think it was easier to get in and out of than the regular lot. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were delighted with this find - the location was wonderful - next to park - across the street from stores and great restaurant - pleasant short walk to quiet end of Waikiki beach and also walking distance - pleasant walk - to Ala Moana mall Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful - hotel generally quiet - beds comfortable There was only one real issue - we were on the 'wrong' side of the hotel - as I suspect most or all of the cheaper suites are - we overlooked the gas station (rather than the park) - not only was this a less attractive outlook but it was - at times - extremely noisy (motor bikes revving, gas tankers delivering at 2.30 am etc.) so not good for light sleepers Next time we will go we will be sure to request a room on the other side which would make a huge difference Noise from said gas station aside, this hotel was an excellent choice and we would not choose to stay anywhere else in Waikiki - other frequent visitors also enthused about it - especially compared to other - far more pricey hotels compared with which it offers excellent value

“Super Quality Stay!”

This hotel was our second choice as it is one block farther inland than the hotels right on Waikiki Beach. Even with the elegant entrance, foyer and decor, we were stunned when we saw our room. Spacious, tastefully decorated and really well equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette, comfortable beds, table and chairs and large screen TV. Bathroom was clean and water pressure was great. Large Stainless gas grills were available steps away from our room (on the pool deck) for cooking and a full coin laundry room was on the same floor. Service was friendly and helpful. At a rate through Expedia that was extremely competitive, this hotel is a super deal!
