Not what you pay for

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: On the beach
Cons: Update the website. Actually show people what they are being given for a room and not some glammed up shot of a PR room.
Location: Located on the beach in Honolulu , many shops to browse through , convenient drop off and pick up for tours.
The room that we saw on website and which we supposedly booked was not what we received when we arrived. We splurged on what we thought was going to be this beautiful hotel and room. The lobby was beautiful but our room was far from it , stained carpet , stained tiles in bathroom , tiles lose on the balcony covered with area rug , spotty cleaning etc. Very disappointed with our room. We would of been better off taking a cheaper hotel and speding our money on something else.

small rooms, big view

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Pools and beach proximity/access, location in Waikiki
Cons: Better and updated rooms, the tile, carpeting, and furniture was definitely worn. The front desk staff was disengaged and uninterested in guests/job
Location: wonderful location in Waikiki in a perfect location for everything
The rooms are small and could use some updating, but our view was spectacular. The pool areas and beach access are wonderful. The housekeeping and club level staff were great! Clean rooms, but could use updating. Food at club lounge was average. Breakfast was better then the evening snacks. Front desk staff seemed uninterested in guests, not real helpful or engaged. When checking in we asked about getting a room upgrade. He said they are always full and never do upgrades. Which we could understand. It was the body language of all the front desk employees that disturbed us. They would be happy visiting amongst themselves (smiling, conversing) but when a guest walked up, no smiles and not much conversing to the guest. I know it must be a tiring job, but when guests are paying for the experience to stay in a nice hotel, the first impressions of checking in should be cordial. We felt like uninvited house guests at the front desk. The rest of the hotel staff was very friendly and professional in their job.

Nice pool facilities.

Posted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: The rooms were very spacious and the pool facilities were great they had an infinite pool which had bean bags in the water, which was great a relaxing
Cons: The bathroom needs a bit of a renovation the shower is in the bath tuband the basin is stainless steel.
Location: The location was great, there are restaurants and shops all walking distance as well as the beach just behind the hotel.
We had a problem with the airconditioning not working properly when I called the staff down stairs they sent someone up immediately to fix it, the only problem was I had call them 3 days in a row for the same thing until it was finally fixed.

Beautiful Hotel

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Beautiful ocean view room from Level 9. King bed very comfortable.
Cons: Very busy, noisy hotel, not private. Double glazed doors/windows to reduce noise from pool area. Limit general public access
Location: Great shopping, restaurants, cafes & beach close by.
Enjoyed our 4 days at Sheraton. Great restaurants, cafes, shopping, beach, rental car at door stop. But, disappointed in the noise radiating up to room (Level 9) from Infinity Pool till late night/very early morning (doors/windows need double glazing). Sheraton needs to limit public access to the Infinity Pool area.

Nice beachfront hotel in a great location.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki. The hotel is in a fantastic location - is close to everything. The room was a bit outdated but the facilities were great. Nice pool, restaurants & bars with nightly entertainment.

Close proximity to Waikiki Beach and shopping.

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Hotel is near corner of where Waikiki beach begins a well as shopping. Overall great location however it is loud because of this and since it sits above shops in the lobby and a couple of garages. Overall, the hotel's layout is awkward and common areas are small (both pools) and walkways to it and beach. Towels and sheets were also stained and housekeeping did a poor job with toilet bowl cleanliness.

Great location - right on the beach!

Got upgraded from partial ocean view to full ocean view room! Location is excellent - right on the beach, and shops and restaurants are walking distance!
