At your hotel

The Kahala Hotel and Resort is composed of two 10-story towers and a two-story Dolphin Lagoon Terrace. A three-story lobby provides plush seating amid white beams, tall drapes, and wooden shutters.

Every imaginable facility and service is available for a relaxed, luxurious vacation: a fitness center offering personal training, aquatic exercise, and yoga, with separate men's and women's quarters with saunas, steam rooms, and spas; a Keiki Club for children ages 5–12, offering half- and full-day sessions of Hawaiian culture and activities; exclusive shops and boutiques, including children's store Li'l Nell's; complimentary shuttles to nearby shopping; and complimentary activities such as seasonal Hawaiian cultural programs. Garage parking is available on site (surcharge) and complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access is available.

Hoku's restaurant consistently wins acclaim for its contemporary Island cuisine, which melds Hawaiian, Asian, and European flavors.

With new standards for luxury and the latest trends in spa treatments, The Kahala Spa with garden view boasts a suite of ten spacious treatment rooms—each with their own relaxation area, glass-enclosed shower and deep soak tub for the ultimate in privacy and serenity during your spa experience. The Kahala Spa Signature Massages and Rituals all begin with the ritual of Ho’omaka, a cleansing and relaxing foot massage that sets a pampering tone for your very personalized spa adventure. Choose from a wide variety of treatments including aromatherapy treatments, body scrubs, body wraps, facial treatments, manicures and pedicures, designed to heal, relax, detoxify, rejuvenate and renew. Couples treatments and bridal or birthday spa parties may also be reserved. The spa also has a boutique.

Jazzman David Swanson tinkles those piano keys like nobody’s business nightly, Tuesday to Saturday at The Veranda. Enjoy cocktails and late night snacks, and perhaps a twirl around the dance floor.

Eat and drink

Hoku's - Hoku's consistently wins acclaim for its contemporary Island cuisine, which melds Hawaiian, Asian, and European flavors prepared with finesse and served with style. Renovated June 2006, the hotel features bright furnishings, Italian bone china, and Christofle silver. Updated menu items include Slow Braised Kahuku Pork Belly, Pancetta Crusted Onaga, and Salt Crusted Rack of Wisconsin Lamb, served tableside. Old favorites such as the Crisp Whole Island Fish still remain. Thanks to a multi-level layout, all diners receive ocean-view seats, but may be distracted from the view by the open kitchen featuring fiery hot woks, a kiawe wood grill, and tandoori and wood-burning ovens. Hoku's serves dinner and Sunday brunch.

Arancino at the Kahala - Italian restaurant serving lunch, dinner, and drinks. Children's menu and al fresco dining is available.

Plumeria Beach House - Renowned for its Kahala Burger, this casual beachside café features bountiful buffets and off-the-menu choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with live Hawaiian music at sunset.

The Veranda - Designed in classic plantation style, the comfortable lounge overlooks the Dolphin Lagoon with a choice of both indoor and al fresco seating. Perfect for lingering over a cocktail or just escaping with a good book, as palm leaf motifs and island-inspired furnishings transport you to that other time. Our Afternoon Tea is a tradition, after a day out discovering Oahu. It is also a popular venue for special occasions and showers.

Seaside Grill - With a direct view of the Pacific Ocean, this restaurant is perfect for lunch or afternoon cocktails.

Honu Bar & Terrace - Located next to the turtle ponds, Honu (Hawaiian for "turtle") serves lunch, evening appetizers, dinner, and tropical drinks.

Room service is available 24 hours.
