また泊まりたいホテルです

Posted Apr 29, 2015

Nice, Classic Hotel

Great location - about 10-15 minutes away from the busy Waikiki beach. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and roomy. I would stay again.

Beautiful hotel on the beach!

Excellent 5 star hotel with great service and facility. Only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is in Kahala, a suburb, so if you are looking for a "Waikiki" experience this is not it.

beautiful hotel outside waikiki

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: great service ,great location.Truly a top class hotel and resort
Location: Just 3 miles outside Waikiki centre so very peaceful and relaxing. Simple drive along coast road to all shops and restaurants of Waikiki centre
Spent 10 fantastic days at this lovely hotel. Just outside Waikiki but only 10 minutes from the shops and restaurants. The staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We had a sea view room which was truly spectacular .The room was well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with an extensive buffet and outside seating to take in the breathtaking views. To finish the day there was live music in the veranda lounge played by David Swanson,a very talented musician. We have stayed at many hotels but this is by far the best .

Good hotel but.

Way way way too far from anything fun. It has its own tiny man made beach and all but no one ever goes there. The nearest fun place is Waikiki and you need to take a taxi which is about 70 to and from. There's also a shuttle but it broke down during our stay so wasn't a choice. Rooms are very nice and spacious, staff are extremely friendly and helpful, also there is a golf course very near the hotel so you can live there is you want to play golf, but I wanted the beach so this was not the one for me.

Fantastic resort away from the masses

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Service, pool & beach area
Cons: Need firmer, and bigger beds. Could easily fit two queens in the rooms, rather than doubles.
Location: 10 minutes out of Waikiki, close to Diamondhead and the Kahala Mall.
This was our second stay at the Kahala and we were again not disappointed. It is located a 10 minute drive from Waikiki and out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to still enjoy everything. A regular free shuttle bus runs from the resort to Wakiki and the local shopping centre as well as Ala Moana. There is also a Hertz rental office onsite. If you want to get away from it all and just relax, with everything taken care of, then the Kahala is the place to do it. Even during school holidays there were always sun loungers available and the pool and beach area were pristine. Food onsite can be expensive, and the pool bar doesn't serve the strongest of drinks, but the bartender at the Plumeria made up for that. If you can get a package with the buffet breakfast included, then do it. It is well worth the money and you can easily skip lunch after. They do need a mid-range option for eating in the evenings. The Veranda is nice, but gets busy. Our room had ample space for the 2 double (and they are double - not queen) beds as well as a rollaway. The beds were a bit too soft for us and I slept on the rollaway most nights as it was firmer and much more comfortable. Don't think I've said that about a rollaway ever! The hotel has upped its game a bit since our last stay and the staff use your name in greeting as often as possible. We heard rumours of renovations in the works and we hope that the new owners keep as much of the 'feel' of this resort as possible.

Staff go the extra mile

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Beautiful 2 night stay at the Kahala. Very spacious double room. Beds just allow 1 adult&1 child so would recommend additional rollaway bed ($66/nt) Pool smaller side but uncrowded. Directly on to beach. Regular shuttle bus to town. No resort fee but charge for valet parking. Staff extremely helpful at all times from last minute dinner reservation in Waikiki to early room service breakfast to allow departure ..

喧噪を離れた高級ホテル

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: 静か、スタッフのホスピタリティ。
Cons: 部屋のRenewal。
ホスピタリティは最高、喧噪を離れてリラックスできる。レストランの食事のレベルも高い。ただ、建物が古く、部屋の機材等が古いのが残念。

Luxurious facility

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Cons: Internet access was problematic with multiple devices.
Quiet location while having easy access to all the places you will want to visit. Shuttle service makes it easy to visit Waikiki. Loved how the staff treated us. The rooms were oversized with extremely comfortable beds. All in all, a great place to call home while on vacation.
