If you plan on hanging out in Waikiki or hanging out by the beach, this is not the place to stay in. But if you plan on going to the Ala Moana Mall, then this is conveniently a walking distance hotel.
Our room was in front of the 3 elevator doors and it feels like a plane was taking off every minute. Although they close the 2 elevator s at 10 P.M. and opens them again at 6 A.M., it was annoying to hear the sound in our room.
Although it has a very excellent staff service but I don’t know why they call it Modern Hotel when nothing is modern in it. Our king bed wasn’t comfy, neither the pull out bed, the pillows were run down. The only thing I liked in this hotel was the strong water pressure from the shower. We spent so much time walking back and forth to Waikiki.
