“Honeymoon in Paradise”

We were treated well from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The only one complaint was our room was located next to some sort of housekeeping facility, and there was banging on our wall, on-and-off, from 8AM until 10 PM. The room was great in terms of cleanliness and comfort. There were few outlets in good locations however, so be aware of that. The bathroom is also small, but quite nice.

The service of the restaurant is "typical Hawaiian" service but that doesn't take away from the experience at all and is actually somewhat comical. Other than that, the hotel was amazing. Try to get an ocean view in the old part of the hotel. So convenient to the beach. Get your beach chairs early in the morning (7am) because they fill up fast :-)

“Return guests”

This was our 10th visit to The Royal Hawaiian in 9 years. The service is so outstanding that is keeps calling us back. Many of the staff members remember us by name and are happy to see us when we arrive. Carol & Evelyn provided nightly "turn-down" service, complete with chocolates. They are very friendly and helpful. The beach attendants (Chuck and Paul especially) are very good at making us feel secure and happy while lounging on Waikiki beach. The umbrellas and chaise lounge chairs with plenty of towels, provided by the hotel, are very comfortable. The umbrella is critical since we can't sit in the sun for hours on end. Check-in and check-out staff are courteous and prompt. When you are checking-in they provide you with a warm wash cloth and an icy cold pink beverage. The bell hop service brings our bags to our room in minutes. We are never concerned about them keeping our luggage safe while we check-in. Next year I am planning on bringing my granddaughter for her 8th grade graduation gift. I am confident that she will fall in love with The Royal Hawaiian, just like we did on our first trip. “KS FROM UTAH”

LOVED MY STAY. THE 1 NEGATIVE WAS I FELT THE ROOM COULD BE CLEANER. THE BALCONY HAD SOME TRASH WHEN I CHECKED IN AND SHE DIDNT CLEAN THE COFFEEMAKER 1 DAY AND I HAD DIRTY COFFEECUPS ON THE TABLE ON THE BALCONY THAT SHE DIDNT TAKE. ALSO FOUND SOME LONG LIGHT-COLORED HAIR IN THE BATHROOM AND I HAVE SHORT DARK HAIR. SORRY 1 MORE THING I FELT THE FOOD WAS TOO EXPENSIVE. I HAD PINEAPPLE AND TOAST AND WITH TIP IT COST $24.00. BUT OVER-ALL THE HOTEL IS LOVELY. THE GROUNDS, THE BEACH AT THE HOTEL WAS THE BEST. THE LOCATION TO SHOPS AND OTHER EATING PLACES IS EXCELLENT. THE VIEW FROM MY TOWER ROOM WAS AWESOME .I WILL BE BACK.

“Best Vacation EVER”

This hotel was very inviting and the staff was superb....from the moment we pulled up to the driveway of The Royal Hawaiian until the time we got in the van to go to the airport we were treated like family. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and Carolina in the evening always made sure that we had everything we needed. She made sure our beds were ready to jump into when we arrived in our room nightly....She was wonderful and very attentive. She is a wonderful lady and always was thinking of the girls and what they wanted and needed. Great customer service from her daily.....Funny lady too! She made our trip great! The night we arrived the bellhops gave us wonderful advice on where to eat late at night, and the staff at the pool were awesome and attentive.....they even remembered us the next day. Pohai(hope I spelled that right), Vinson and the staff at Waikiki Services were the bomb....making sure the girls always had what they needed and even took the time to take a picture with them for their scrap book.....high class gentlemen with great attitudes and always smiling. BEST Vacation I have ever been on. Sora and the guest services manager were absolutely incredible when a problem arouse at check out but they quickly went to action and resolved it right away. You will not regret staying here....Attached are pictures or our awesome vacation......Aloha and Mahalo to you and your entire staff of wonderful people who truly know how to treat customers.....

“Awesome hotel for anyone”

Walk right from your room onto the beach. The hotel has no exterior doors so there's always a sweet, crisp breeze blowing through the corridors. Staff is extremely friendly & accommodating.

“Exceeding Expectaions”

This hotel, their rooms and the manner in which all of the staff treated us was outstanding. Since this was a highly rated hotel, I expected it would be an excellent experience, but in fact, it exceeded those expectations.

“Nice, quiet hotel right on the beach.”

We LOVED this hotel. They greeted my son and I with leis, checked us in quickly, and gave us a good map of the property and Waikiki. This hotel is within walking distance of several great restaurants, and of course it's right on the beach. We enjoyed eating breakfast at the surf lanai, and my whole family enjoyed drinking cocktails on the beach. We had a garden view room, and it was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

“great hotel with charm”

Wonderful older hotel with original Hawaiian flavor. The grounds are exceptional with mature trees and tropical shrubs. We thoroughly our weeks stay.

“Seemann's were impressed”

This hotel is an amazing hideaway right in the middle of Waikiki. It was extremenly classy and comfortable. Although in the middle of high rise hotels with their crowds, you can enter the grounds of the Royal Hawaiian and find absolute peace. The rooms are amazing, the employees are warm and welcoming, and there is always a spot at the Mai-Tai bar on the beach. This is the only hotel to go to in Waikiki. It stands up to its long history with charm and class.
