A Grand Hotel

Posted Jul 25, 2015
The Royal Hawaiian is like stepping back in time to when hotels were a true experience, not just a place to lay your head down. You know you are in a special place when two people come to your car to greet you, take your luggage, and whisk your car away to be parked in a matter of minutes. And it is done without you feeling rushed. We can not overstate the grandeur of this hotel. From the tiled floors to the dark wood and soaring ceilings, to the outstanding staff so well trained in old world charm, you know your stay is going to be memorable.

The hotel is beautiful and the beach is beautiful.

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: The history and beauty of the building
Cons: The pool is very small but it really can't be bigger. The beach shower is there and it woudl be nice to have another at the other end near the Mai Tai
Location: The location is beautiful on the beach but the neighborhood is a combination of NYC's Fifth Avenue and a suburban mall. Need to cab everywhere else.
If you go to Honolulu you have to spend a night at the Royal Hawaiian -- in the old section. It is incredibly beautiful and full of art and history. The staff is lovely. The only negative is the small pool that is full of babies and children.

Beautiful grounds and building at the pink palace.

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: History, architecture, grounds, room, beach
Cons: Not the hotel's fault, but the music at the Outrigger next door was extremely loud.
Location: Beach, shopping, water sports
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel lobby and grounds are beautiful. Staff was extremely friendly. We had an ocean view room in the tower which had a large balcony. Staff did a terrific job keeping our room clean.

グレードアップしてくれて良かったですが、部屋が狭く思いました。 値段との差が有ると思いました。 全体的には日本より高いし、ホテル内のスパとかも高いです。 後でしりましたがクーポンとかあるので町で探すといいと思います。

Pros: Läget!!!
Location: Bästa läget i Waikiki Beach

Beachfront

Perfectly located, staff bent over backwards to make you feel welcomed. Ocean was exceptional, food and shops all very close by. One negative was charging resort guests for using beach chairs. Recommend a visit

Beautiful, historic hotel right on beach.

Posted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: Gardens and beach. Location.
Cons: Check in was slow and not very welcoming or helpful.
Location: Teenagers were in paradise.
Lots of activities. Great yoga, didn't try any other complimentary activities. Would have been helpful if we had found out before our last day that we had access to the pool at the Sheraton next door.

Great People!!!

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: Location and ambiance..
Location: Right in the heart of Waikiki. Beach, shopping, sightseeing all within walking distance.
The service people at the Royal Hawaiian go out of their way to help you. The people at the check in desk, especially Roger, are A number one. The Concierges and the people at the Bell station were superb. I couldn't thank them enough for the help they gave.....all with a smile.
