Good Location

Pros: Location, easy access to other sites and places
Cons: some of your staff could have better training, for world wide, costumers
Location: Beach, places to eat and drink, sea aquarium, Zoo, others
I had a bad experience on the Bar at the third floor ,I try to use one of your free drinks coupons, and the bartender ( Japanese ) manager, told me in a very rude way, that's not a ticket ,I ask why not, it has the same numbers as the other ones I used before, he said that's not a coupon, no explanation ,why or why not, I went on order one drink pay cash and I left, I feel he need better training to deal with people all over the world . also at the airport there was no information of how to get to your hotel , no shutter , I had to pay my on taxi , to get there,(45 Dollars) not until at the hotel, I was inform, that I had to arrange for transportation, I just spend 9 days at your hotel and I feel that for the rate your charging and all this problems, I would not recommended your hotel to coworker and friends, my next vacation on Hawaii, is going to be in a world class service hotel, and I feel your not there yet with your service, I hope this help created a better customer service for the world market.

Things to know ( good and bad)

Pros: Great Location, good room size, two pools, lovely terrace bar, nice an spacious hotel.
Cons: The resort fee To reduce & be flexible with the options ( subsitute cocktails) and if 2 in a room, one each per day, not one per room.
Location: Great handy location to all transport... Lagoon is nice to swim in across the road...
Our flight left at 10pm and we had to check out by 11 am..upon checking out we asked for our bags to be stored and we got a lovely surprise to be offered the use of their hospitality room until we left... This room has showers, toiletries, towels, chairs and a TV. Very useful and comfortable. We spent most of our last day by the pool, then went into the hospitality suite to freshen up before our flight. Excellent....it is good to know that facility is available as usually we would have paid for an additional night just to keep our room. Resort fee is over the top. We don't use the Gym or water sports, We don't like Mai Tai's so we're disappointed when we couldn't substitute for another cocktail...and it is only one per room per day, not one per person per day... At least as part of that we could get wifi everywhere..but come on USD$30 per day is a rip off.... Considering it is not optional. The hotel is a great location and the rooms are nice and large..it is also great to have two pools. We were able to choose the quieter one on the days we decided to relax and read.. A great Hotel and highly recommend. Would give excellent if they didn't rip us off the the compulsory resort fee and then for us not to even want what it offered...

Pros: The view was amazing. Best to have rooms on floor 26 or higher.
This hotel was great, comfortable beds, very clean. Watch out for rooms next to the elevators...the elevators will have you awake at 5 in the morning.

I want to say thanks to the Marriott and it's staff for such a great stay last week in Waikiki. Upon arrival I was greeted with 2 free upgrades including a late check out option as well as an upgrade to a partial ocean view in the K tower. My room especially the bed was very comfortable my view was great even from the 7th floor and the house keeping was also great. Always came the same time and even turned the TV towards the side of the bed I was using. The hotel was exceptionally clean everywhere the pools were never crowded and the location was perfect. You are right across from a great part of beach and are basically on the east end of the main shopping strip. The resort also houses a couple great restaurants on site including dk'so and arancino. Lastly I found the elevatoms to be quick and never waited more than 45 seconds. Altogether great job and thanks for helping my vacation be so awesome. Mahalo!

The staff were terribly rude and dismissive, with the exception of the male manager. We were harassed because we charged breakfast to our room. Apparently you're not meant to do that, incase you runaway and skip checkout. On that note, we were told at check in that we had to pay the full rare up front. I have not been to any other hotel in the world that has asked for this.

Nice hotel. All amenities accept microwave ovens in room. Extra charge if you need a microwave oven to warm something up...

Awesome location. Staff outstanding. Rooms could use a remodel, updating. The $30 dollar per night activities fee was way too much for what you get in return.
