llikai at the MarinaPosted Dec 5, 2013
Three girl friends spent 3 days in Honolulu, all for the first time. There is a separate hotel wing that is a true hotel with a lobby and around the clock staff, this part that we were in is operated by the timeshare operator, hotel staff only present during office hour, which is not a problem; many of the units you can probably find even better deals by going to the "for rent by owner" of various website. The unit has a full kitchen which makes it convenient for having breakfast and storing cold drinks, with a pull out sofa bed it was sufficient for 3 people, there is a balcony for all units, however we got the two streets view so it was a bit noisy. The location is at the very end of the Waikiki strip, but it is definitely convenient enough.

This hotel was completed in 1964 and does show its age in fixtures and fittings.Otherwise it is comfortable, located close to the beach and the Ala Moana centre

Great Place for Vacation!Posted Nov 26, 2013
It was everything I needed. I loved having a full kitchen. Although I didn't cook while there I did have the option. I was able to stock my fridge with beverages and snacks. Also having a living room made it even better not having to always be "in bed" to watch a movie or just read. At check in, I was greeted warmly and felt the Aloha Spirit from all involved. Being there on a Friday night was a bonus, Hawaiian music and fireworks! Being a female staying alone I at no time felt concerned for my safety. All staff that I dealt with were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again soon.

Like the easy access to the beach and poolPosted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: The Staff through out! Fantastic service especially the valets!!
Cons: The service in the Bar and Grill, the girls were more interested in what they going to get for a tip than the customers.
Location: For us as I explained above the beach, pool, parks, and the walking to the International Market Place was what we needed. Hate to hear that its going.
This was a Honeymoon and a badly needed vacation away. Good walks to the beach, downtown, to the parks and just plain sleep if we wanted. For a couple of 60 year olds it was Great!

Great suite with fantastic facilities!Posted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: The kitchen facilities were excellent with a full size cooker and fridge and this allowed us to do some of our own cooking (particularly breakfast).
Cons: The air conditioning seemed a little loud - but as a Brit I'm not really used to the noise of an air conditioning unit.
Location: This is a great location - short walk from everything on Waikiki Beach and very good access to the sea from the hotel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 nights at the Ilikai. The hotel is very well placed on Ala Moana Boulevard not far from anything! Very convenient location. Our suite had a full kitchen, a lanai and a very spacious shower room. Together with our flight to Honolulu from LHR we had an extremely good package. We loved the Ilikai and will certainly return.

Excellent choice in WaikikiPosted Nov 13, 2013
Our room was very spacious. The full kitchen makes it very convenient to prepare some breakfast and light meals. It is close to shops and beach front. This place was recommended to us by friends who had stayed here twice in the past. Great choice! We will come back soon.
