Friendly staff but noisy!

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Cons: Decrease noise
Very helpful staff and spotless room but, unless you have an ocean view, forget it, you will be assailed by the noise of industrial air conditioners even on the top floor. Very expensive for what it is!

One of the best!

Posted Sep 28, 2014
Pros: Location Location Location
Cons: AS I said previous the TV, and the pillows were a little too hard for me.
I have stayed at many hotels in Waikiki over many years, and I found the Parc just lovely. I have never met such courteous staff, and any request I had was attended to most promptly. There was no noise of room doors banging when guest left their rooms, and the lifts were quiet and efficient. Unfortunately the TV in my room was rather old with poor sound. I would definitely stay at the Parc Hotel again. The location is marvellous, straight across the road from the Halekelani!

Very close to the beach

Posted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: Well located, with friendly staff. Short walk to everywhere we needed to go.
Cons: Extend the pool and fitness center hours for the night crawler.
Waikiki Parc hotel is well located. You can access public beach within 800m of the hotel, if not less. To the front of the hotel was the Sheraton bus terminal - which was convenient so we can get that extra 5min of sleep before a tour. Staff was extremely friendly. The only downside, which isnt really, was the fitness center is relatively small and the the pool closes at 8pm. Because we were there only for a week, we did try to maximise our day, but in doing so, we couldnt really take advantage of the hotel amenities.

Lovely staff and good value for money

Posted Aug 25, 2014
We stayed for 12 nights during our wedding trip in Hawaii and had a really great stay at Waikiki Parc. The staff were all so accommodating, friendly and helpful. The staff managed to shuffle a few rooms around so that we could upgrade to an ocean view room which was well worth it. It was a beautiful start to each day, opening the shutters and stepping out onto the balcony, looking out on the stunning ocean blue. I really loved the way the simplicity of the room decorations and the shutters across all windows. Other guests stayed in the mountain view rooms and they were exactly the same as ours, but the view was more of car park and buildings than mountains. The amenities were more basic than a 5 star resort, but I thought that it was good value for money and would definitely stay here again.

Good value for money

Location: A few minutes walk from kalakaua ave and is located directly across from Sheraton bus depot which was convenient for tours. short stroll to beach.
My sister and I stayed for 4 nights early August. We arrived early on a saturday morning and unfortunately our room was not ready when we checked in and we were told to come back in a few hours. Thankfully we were able to use the hospitality room to freshen up. We came back a few hours later and emphasised how tired we were from our 2 flights and Jaz was very helpful and was able to find us a room. Room was comfortable and clean. The balcony is only a standing one, which we didn't mind as we didn't spend much time in the room, but was handy when we needed fresh air. Staff at front desk and also porters were very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Great location and hotel

Excellent location, close access to shops and beach. Ur away from the noise from the main road. Friendly staff who are always willing to help. Room size is great for 2 people, 3 is a bit tight depending on luggage. Overall great hotel, have stayed there 3 times along with another 5 star big name hotel and will stay at the Parc over any other hotel.

Chic hotel with friendly "Hawaiian Hospitality"

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: The smaller size and the contemporary decor. Good amenities. Comfortable beds and nice view with shuttered windows. Great breakfast buffet.
Cons: We had a very comfortable and smooth-flowing experience with all the accommodations, so there is nothing that we can think of that could be improved.
Location: Easy, close access to the beachfront. Shopping at Waikiki Beachwalk; Army museum at Ft.DeRussy; Waikiki Zoo, Aquarium, Ala Moana shopping center.
A chic boutique hotel with a comfortable, friendly ambiance. Refreshing to stay in a smaller hotel in the heart of Waikiki, but yet out of the busyness of the main street. All the staff, from the valet to the front desk, concierge and the housekeepers were friendly, professional and excelled in their service. The location was within a short walking distance to several access walkways to the beautiful beachfront which stretched quite a distance. Just around the corner from the hotel was the Waikiki Beach Walk with shops and restaurants. We requested that our room be adjoining or close to my daughter's family. They gave us two rooms that opened out to a foyer that could be closed off from the hallway (like a suite). It was perfect since we were joining each other in Hawaii for the whole trip to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! Staying at the Waikiki Parc was wonderful, and we plan to return there on our next trip.

Wonderful hotel in a quieter area of Waikiki

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: The proximity to variety of restaurants and shopping, plus easy access to get away from Waikiki.
Cons: Would be nice to have free breakfast!
Location: walk to beach, walk to shopping and very nice restaurants. It's away from the loud party atmosphere of the other end of Waikiki.
This is my third time at Waikiki Parc and each time tops the previous time. The staff is wonderful and the hotel is clean, comfortable, and has easy parking. The proximity to eating and shopping places is a plus. We loved the free passes to the museums and took advantage of them all.

Convenient, comfortable and very friendly staff

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: Demolishing the adjacent Sheraton hotel would improve the view and reduce noise at night :-)
Location: For a special treat enjoy a cocktail and dinner at sunset at House Without a Key, a beautiful beach-side restaurant in the adjacent Halekulani hotel
The staff at the Waikiki Parc were the friendliest and most helpful of any hotel I've stayed at. All aspects of the service I received from the door staff, front desk and cleaners exceeded my expectations. I was particularly impressed by the genuine kindness and helpfulness of the door staff when the airport shuttle I had booked didn't arrive. They took it upon themselves to contact the shuttle company to monitor the situation and to make alternative arrangements quickly when it transpired the vehicle had broken down. The only negative aspect of my experience was the level of noise from an adjacent hotel. "Ocean View" rooms overlook the back of the Sheraton where there are air-conditioning units and delivery trucks periodically even at night. I became accustomed after a few days but light sleepers might find it disturbing.

Comfortable and convenient

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Close to beach, restaurants, shops and transport. Fast, spacious lifts.
Location: Only two minutes walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants along the Beach Walk. It's flat and easy to walk around Waikiki.
We booked a queen room with sea views. Upon arrival, we were advised that a queen room was unavailable and we were offered two double beds on a higher floor with more extensive water views. We accepted and were pleased with the room.
